Sex & Nudity

  • A man goes to a man the other man says "I see you've grown some."
  • You can also shoot at the exposed buttocks of some enemies for bonus points.

Violence & Gore

  • Extremely violent, bloody and gory, Bulletstorm is all about "killing with skill" (as it says on the back of the box).
  • From a first-person perspective, you'll shoot, whip, and kick human enemies and creatures.
  • Players can enemies by blowing their head off (resulting in an explosion of flesh and blood), impaling them onto sharp objects, and kicking them into the air and filling them with lead.
  • Sequences are slowed down for dramatic effect and shows the enemies you killed die in slow motion.
  • Players are rewarded for creative kills.
  • Whenever enemies are shot, large amounts of blood will gush from wounds, and even more often, enemies will be completely dismembered in very brutal fashion.
  • It is also important to note that this game encourages players to come up with more violent ways to kill enemies.
  • Players are rewarded with extra points for impaling enemies, severing body parts, crushing them etc.

Profanity

  • There is a use of "what the f**k." But it's bleeped
  • Bulletstorm contains extreme profanity, some of which is outlined in the "Sex" section.
  • The word f**k is bleeped a few times
  • Name calling (motherfucker, cocksucker, son of a whore, pile of shit, asshole, shit-head, ass-maggot and dog-shit.)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The main character can consume alcohol from a bottle, causing his vision to become blurred. If he kills under this effect he receives an "Intoxicated Skillshot" bonus.
  • Dialogue includes phrases such as "you're drunk again," and "any booze left on this ship?"

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The violence in this game is extremely graphic and intense, so it will probably disturb many viewers.
  • Bulletstorm was clearly meant for an adult audience, and it is definitely not appropriate for anyone under at least 18 years old.
