The phrase “go big or go home” seems appropriate for a new 3-part series about the quest to build the perfect, most epic American grill. Hosted by Tekzilla’s Patrick Norton, America’s Finest Grill was created by Discovery Digital Networks in conjunction with Ball Park. In the style of Extreme Home Makeover (but on a much smaller scale), the branded entertainment series features Norton who, inspired by Park’s Finest hotdogs by Ball Park, approaches a local engineer firm called TechShop to build the best possible grill to complement the classic summer dish. The result is an overblown, Americana-themed grill which boasts not just the grill portion, but also a wireless sound system controlled by BlueTooth, beer taps on top of a mini fridge, a Mount Rushmore-themed condiment dish, custom seating for eight guests, and more. Oh, and this is all sitting on top a red, white, and blue 19-foot trailer.
