Sex & Nudity

  • In one scene, two characters almost get blown up but end up on top of each other before they quickly get off, meant for comedic effect.
  • If you're a male you can be in your underwear and if you're a female you can be in your bra and underwear like games like Skyrim. It's not in a sexual way at all.
  • Like the other games, you can have a girlfriend if you're a guy or a boyfriend if you're a girl. You can kiss them. One character, who's an alien, passionately kisses your character if you date her but the dating thing isn't the point of the game. The game is a sci fi shooting game and dating is your choice but even if you choose to there's nothing bad that happens.

Violence & Gore

  • Using a sniper rifle, you can shoot off the heads of human enemies leaving a bloody stump with some blood spraying before dropping to the floor.
  • A lot of violence and gunfights throughout, although it's never very gory, there is a lot of blood throughout.

Profanity

  • Plenty of language throughout
  • Infrequent uses of "damn," "hell," "ass," and one use of "shit" respectively.
  • A few uses of the F-word used throughout.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • You can drink some alcohol on the bar in you ship.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Very emotionally intense throughout, discounting the fact that there's a destructive war being fought, multiple characters who players have grown close to throughout the series could end up dying which makes it even more emotional.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A young boy is killed in the beginning of the game. It's not graphic in any way, but it's clear what's happened, and this event haunts the main character him/herself as he/she constantly has nightmares about it.
  • The protagonist sees nightmares about a boy who runs into the woods. Next, it shows the boy in flames and getting burned. May be disturbing for some viewers
  • You must make the last decision about the game ending, resulting the main hero (Commander Shepard) sacrificing herself/himself for the rest of the people in the galaxy. This scene is very emotional and could be especially heartbreaking if you chose to pursue a relationship.
