When Ron Shirley was 8 his bicycle was stolen by local kids while he was wrestling for frog legs with Bobby at the nearby watering hole. The two went to repossess it from the kids by distracting them with a story about how licking Bobby's pet lizard would grant them a genie. They came out of the job with Ron's bike and the beginning of their calling.
Bobby Brantley was awarded a gold medal in 100m sprint one high school year. His coach told him he was Olympic material, but he replied, "My destiny lies with the repossession business.".
Ron Shirley was offered the role of Bane in an upcoming TV movie. However, he declined and the TV movie was cancelled.
Adam Snowdon (cinematography) and Aiden McNaughton (a local producer) were due to make an appearance in the show but Callum Hughes (a local media agent) denied it as it would make the show too unrealistic.
