Needed more Brittany Snow and less drama
solojere13 October 2021
In this episode, Kate's younger sister, Julia (Brittany Snow), visits New York. An overprotective Kate seems to forget that Julia is no longer a little kid. Meanwhile, Larry and Connie decide to be each other's wingmen at the bar. Larry and Connie are the best part of the show. Their chemistry is great, and I love their little quips and their banter. Britany Snow is my all-time favorite actor, but this isn't one of her best performances. This is because the script doesn't give her much to work with. In the first act, Brittany Snow shines as the younger sister who just wants to break free. However, in the second half of the episode, it takes a turn for the worst as it tries to take Brittany's character in a dumb direction, and she pretty much just stands there as the other characters bicker. She is still super cute and does great with what she is given. Brittany does have the best facial expression, and she does have some cute moments when the scripts actually give her something to do. All in all, it is a sub-par episode that underutilizes its best actor. Frankly, it needed more Brittany Snow and less side drama.
