Sex & Nudity

- We see a woman dancing in a skimpy outfit.
- Couples kiss throughout.
- A woman explains to another woman in lots of detail how she should have sex with a cop. She shares plenty of gestures and references like how "you have to give up your pussy all the time"
- Mike tells Brian about a time when he spent the night at his girlfriends house that he was having sex with her in her parents room and he had to hide under the bed naked so her parents wouldn't find him. He then mentions that the parents started to have sex and he had to listen to the whole thing.
- A couple kiss as they go to a bed, sex is implied. They are seen in bed afterwards, no nudity.
- Two women share an extended kiss. A man is seen filming them.
- Plenty of sexual references, several of them are graphic.

- An officer is found with a knife protruding from his eye. Not graphic, but very unsettling.
- An officer's face is caved in as a result of repeated blows by a criminal, and the aftermath is seen. Pretty graphic.
- A brief rival gang drive-by-shooting. We see a young man in his 20s bleed to death as a result. His body is surrounded by a puddle of blood and there is a lot of blood on his shirt.
- A man gets into an intense fight with another man. Punching and kicking with blood.
- A man discovers a body wrapped in paper with flies circling it.
- A gang member is shot inside a car, blood sprays all over his windshield
- A man is shot once in the hand. He groans and a bit of blood is seen.
- During a massive shootout, a gang member is shot multiple times, blood sprays on the wall behind him.
- Several cartel members are shot and killed by police officers at the end. Blood is briefly shown spraying.
- Two cops discover a room with decapitated heads and various other body parts. There is blood on the walls and there are puddles of blood on the floor. Most disturbing scene in the movie.
- Two cops and two drug dealers get into a brief shootout in the beginning. The drug dealers get gunned down, no blood shown.

- We see a man exhale smoke of an unknown substance.
- We see drugs and paraphernalia on a table from afar and see a man passed out on a couch, implying that he is crashing.
- A man smokes either a cigarette or a blunt.
- People get drunk at a wedding.
- A man cuts a joint in half to prove that it is in fact marijuana.
- Drug cartels are mentioned many times as there is a main plotline involving them.
- A woman lights up a joint in front of a cop, and blows smoke in her face.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The film is overall very intense.
- The ending is very sad and hard to watch.
- Infrequent, but rather intense confrontations between criminals and police, especially when both sides have weapons and there's blood.
- During an investigation of a house two cops find a gated room containing about 15 people and children (presumably illegal immigrants) locked inside, cramped.

Violence & Gore
- There is a massive shootout between two cops and gang members. Lots of loud gunfire. The two cops escape but are then cornered by other gang members. The gang member is shot with bloody results. One officer is shot in the chest and chokes on his blood, he does not die. Blood is shown coming out of his mouth and from his shirt. The other officer is brutally gunned down, blood spurts from his body multiple times.
- We see two babies with their mouths and hands bound and locked in a closet, presumably because a man didn't want to hear them anymore. They survive.
- Two police officers run into a burning building in order to save three kids stuck inside of it and succeed. One of the officers nearly suffocates
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The scene in which Brian and Mike enter the burning building is somewhat intense.
