Push and pull

I suppose writers who know they are at an end of a series have nothing to lose with such repetition! Nora's of and on again with Brody certainly takes its twists. Flashbacks are somewhat entertaining. If real people were this wishy-washy--or are they? I guess the writers write drama since actors love to perform it? I just love these actors in this series and the characters too! I am watching just to see how they end this! I will accept whatever they write. I will have to find another series to watch!

Some great quotes!

Warning: Spoilers
Ooh I loved the opening scene with Sarah and Brodie! See I thought in the previous episode she was taking it well, which she was but I'm glad she told Brodie she didn't want to get to know him. It's what I would have done in her situation and it created ~drama~ without it being all "OMG what does it mean now I'm not a Walker?!" - I liked that they had it go the other way with her firming believing that William was still her Dad and that she's a Walker and that DNA doesn't matter ............... and having the freaking out come later..

KITTY'S BACK!!!! Sarah/Kitty <3 <3 <3 <3 I can live without Seth because after all this episode is all about Sarah. Plus Kitty/Daniel CUTENESS (and Kitty left Evan with Seth in Boston? Adorable!).

TYLER'S BACK???? I love Justin/Tyler! Heeee! Yes, yes, yes! I think on reflection I prefer Justin/Tyler than Justin/Rebecca? Luc's French cousins! Ha! Nora/Brodie/William FLASHBACKS!! I liked them. And I love that scene in the hospital reminding us that this was before DNA was invented! Clever that.

Saul/Sarah!!!! ["Can't you be my Dad Saul?"] That quote is adorable (if you don't think too much about the incestuous implications....) Sarah/Saul/Kitty <3 <3.

And now a few standout quotes from this episode because they made me laugh: ["If we follow the octopus salad with the salmon it's going to feel like a shark designed the menu."] courtesy of Sarah! ["You know what, I'm going to see strippers. They'll understand."] courtesy of Justin! ["I try not to eat doughnuts mainly because I don't want to end up looking like one."] courtesy of Nora! ["Sister, like full sister? I've been promoted from half-sister?"] courtesy of Kitty! And finally the end of another epic Kittie speech <3 <3 <3 [" .... and I guess it wasn't you who held my hair out of my face when I was puking up after chemo, telling me that you love me, that everything was going to be okay, and, and saving my life. That wasn't you? You know what, maybe it was you Sarah, maybe it was just half of you."]

Good, satisfying episode

Warning: Spoilers
The show always seems stronger when Kitty is around. Therefore, I was glad to see Calista Flockhart back after not being featured in the past few episodes (she is in about half the final season's shows). I think Rachel Griffiths (Sarah) has been doing an excellent job with the parentage story, and it's been the best material she's had since Sarah and Joe broke up back in season 2. Meanwhile, we have seen Scotty and Kevin start their own family, and I really like having them parent not one but two kids. The young girl that the producers hired to play Olivia (Isabella Rae Thomas) is just right for this role, and her facial expressions are tender and say so much. The Nora-Brody relationship has continued to take on dimension, and again we've been treated to some scenes of Young Brody and 19 year old Nora, helping explain the backstory more. Plus, Justin seems to be getting a bit of romance! Overall, it was a very good, satisfying episode.
