Earlier in the week some of you were suggesting that I drop the "Intern" part of my name since I have graduate. It's very kind of you, but puts me in a bind because I'm the one who chose the term "Intern Rusty" so that prospective employers googling me didn't necessarily turn up discussions of thrush and what shows are best for the casual viewer who appreciates handsome men but not plot. (I have a fairly unusual name.) However, I am open to the idea of a new title so if you've got suggestions please let me know. Here's your Thursday night TV:

8:00pm: "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox
"Wipeout" on ABC
9:00pm: "Burn Notice" on USA
"50 Super Epic TV Moments" on E. What's the over/under on how many of those "Epic Moments" have already appeared on...

Summer series are premiering tonight which is exciting but not in that way that anyone's blocked off their evening and tripled checked the DVR to make sure things record, but in the way that you go "oh, well that's nice" when you find out about it and then you forget to watch anyway and give the whole endeavor up to massive indifference. So, not actually exciting at all, really. I am intrigued by the concept of "Wilfred" because Elijah Wood playing crazy is something I can really and truly get behind. Frankly, ever since Sin City happened it's hard for me to see him as anything else which makes the whole Lord of the Rings movies a touch more disturbing to watch. Also it's apparently Mahler night on PBS and while Mahler has never been one of my absolute favorites I know that his fans tend to be pretty devoted...
