Sex & Nudity

- A married man and a single woman have sex in a sound proof room. We see the man remove the woman's underwear, and subsequent thrusting actions, but no nudity is shown.
- A married woman and a single man reach the stage of almost kissing, but stop short.
- A woman's bare left breast (none of the main characters') is displayed in black & white in an artistic manner (with ants crawling around the areola) during a depiction of scenes from the independent film the main characters were working on.
- An adult foreign language tutor speaks suggestively (but not vulgarly) to an young teen girl in the language he is teaching her during their tutoring sessions. Subtitles are used for translation.
- A young teen boy and girl kissl. The boy lightly touches the girl's bare leg while kissing.
- A woman tells a young teen girl that while she was out walking in the streets of L.A. taking photographs, a man pulled over thinking the woman was a prostitute.
- A single man persistently has suggestive (and sometimes graphic) conversations with a married woman in an attempt to get her to have sex with him.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- An underage teen girl reads a poem to her adult foreign language tutor, highlighting her awareness of his perverted spoken sexual innuendos towards her during their sessions, which causes the adult to go into a fit of rage, cursing her out in English & Italian (with English subtitles), using sexually derogatory phrases towards her and breaking things in the room. He demonstratively makes threatening advances towards the girl while she cowers on a couch, but never touches or harms her.
- A man cheats on his wife. Later, the woman he cheated with then has sex with the man's assistant (presumably - we don't see it happen, but it is alleged). The man angrily confronts the woman alone in her apartment and uses harsh language towards her.
- The final twenty minutes of the film is emotionally intense as all the characters are aware of the man's cheating and how it will be handled, and how it has affected each individual involved.
