Season finale

Warning: Spoilers
What a pre-credits teaser! Yeah, okay show, you've got my attention ........ was it worth it? Well, prior to this episode, I didn't foresee House driving his car into Cuddy's house but when he was standing outside watching her, I had a feeling that was what was going to happen. Also, can anyone say fake cardboard house?!?! And surely House would have been hurt from bricks and glass flying into the windscreen and smashing it? Oh no, because it's a fake cardboard/plaster house. ;) The patient of the week? In theory it was a totally interesting twist on the usual case but I don't think it played out as well as it could. I didn't really feel anything for her or for her boyfriend/assistant and, yeah, the faking of the symptoms bit ended too soon.

What else? Taub's ringtone! LOL! His girlfriend's pregnant, his wife's pregnant! Hee! I can't believe I am even mildly curious about how this plays out.

And that's all I really have to say. Even though this episode wasn't planned to write Cuddy out, I think it works quite well. Whether I'll be back for Season 8. Now that's a question .....

In spite of everything else, it was a great season finale
vinicios_gastondasilva22 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
House's season finales have always been known for having great cliffhangers and/or plot twists, e.g.: the season finale for the 5th season, 'Both Sides Now' in which House hooks up with Cuddy one night and she forgets her lipstick in his place and he keeps playing with the lipstick throughout the entire episode, when it was actually a bottle of Vicodin and the Cuddy thing was a hallucination. In my opinion that was the sickest plot twist ever played by a TV show!

But when it comes to season 7's finale, I can say that it could have been better. When the episode started, with Cuddy speaking to that officer, I instantly figured out that House did something very wrong... But I could never have imagined that he did what he actually did! I mean, House may be mad, or in pain, but he would never hurt other people physically just to feel better about himself. Perhaps that was exactly what the writers wanted me to think, perhaps that was the 'plot twist' of this season finale... And if any of this is true, they have succeeded, because even when House was staring at Cuddy's dining room, I still wasn't thinking that he would just throw his car through her window into her dining room! Another thing I gotta say: although the House and Cuddy and Wilson was great (as always), I couldn't care less about that stupid artist! What a boring case! That was the down side of this episode. But for me, it was a great season finale... Now I'll definitely go stream that final season hoping for a great series finale (I've already gotten some spoilers :/).

Huh

Warning: Spoilers
Not sure I get it... House crashes into her dining room (which was likely to have people in it) because he's mad about their failed relationship? It's pretty overdramatic and hard to buy. Kinda feels like the writers are running out of things to do at this point when the drama of the show ends in House crashing a car into Cuddy's house. Entertaining episode all things considered, but probably the weakest of the season finales.

The title says it all 'Moving On'

To really understand this episode you need to watch the whole season. The ending is really an ending only House could provide. Every season everybody tells House off. They ask him to deal with his pain, they all act like their are perfect and he is weird self destructive and mad. The truth is he lives with pain every day and he is saving lives at the same time. Well in this episode he really smiles in front of everyones hypocritical faces.

I don't know what you will think, my 2 cents of advice is watch it, and judge for yourselves. A great ending for this season and the writers have to work hard with the next one to find a proper story line to continue this wonderful story.

Quite an anti-climax

Warning: Spoilers
House season finales have traditionally been very strong, but this one comes in as a weakling. The episode before it, "After Hours", is a far better episode. Maybe that one could have been tweaked to make it the one to end on, by making it a double episode. In any case "Moving on" is the way the writers chose to tie the season up. First up the patient-mystery with the performance artist is pretty boring. Second, House's behavior is out of character in the way that he endangers the life of Cuddy's child with his stunt with the car. House never balks at endangering himself physically and he doesn't care a whit about harming other people emotionally. He will easily risk other people's lives in order to save them, but he doesn't stoop to risking children's lives for the sake of getting even with an adult - even House doesn't cross that line. So the thing he does at the end just appears stupid. Third, the sight of him walking off along a beautiful beach into the sunset is really a bit much. It was just kind of a lame ending overall. Extending the "After Hours" episode into a double episode and having a different way for House to bale out without bottoming out at the end of the season would have been better I think. But hey, you can't always get what you want.

Quite frankly, disappointing

Warning: Spoilers
Well, for a regular episode this would be about right, a normal case and House doing something a little crazy. However, as this was meant to be a season finale, it was a total let down.

It started out good with the flashbacks to what seemed to be a serious incident three days earlier, but as soon as the opening credits had rolled, the episode switched back to what anyone could mistake for a regular House episode, centered around a patient instead of the main characters (not that I'm saying that's bad, I just expect more from a finale.) The patient really wasn't that interesting either. Well, she could have been if we hadn't seen the flashbacks so early on as I just found myself waiting for those moments the entire episode, willing something interesting to happen between the main characters. Unfortunately it didn't.

House and Cuddy's antics could be mistaken for any other episode and the ending wasn't all that good either. For the amount of popularity Cuddy's character has, they could have let her go with some justice, instead absolutely nothing happens and she just ends up angry with House, but with fairly good reason I must admit. She looked as though someone had died in the flashback.

The flashbacks looked so serious, but the way it was played out through the episode, the incident didn't seem much more serious than any of Houses usual pranks. I thought it would have been more dramatic, I was somewhat expecting House to get drunk, feel depressed, drive through the wall and cause serious injury to someone at least, but instead what, House drives through a wall to give her back a hairbrush?! I mean, seriously?! they couldn't have come up with something better? It had so much potential, it's shame the writers didn't act on it. The only reason I gave this the four was for the flashbacks, the teensy bit of dramatic effect they had at the end of the episode and the usual high standard of acting.

All in all though last seasons finale was way better and I've seen some great episodes this season that could've topped the finale quite easily. But hopefully season 8 will still be able to pull its weight with Lisa Edelstein leaving the set. Really wish she had chosen to stay though, House and Cuddy were so cute when they were together. Damn the writers for breaking them up earlier on in the season. :(

Warning: Spoilers
Well from my last review i was very happy with the episode prior to this monstrosity , i went threw all the characters on how they had changed and the new elements they each brought to the show , but what on Gods green earth was this? Im going to start with what annoyed me that most.

First of all , the promo made it seem as if house was going to kill someone but what did we get? A car crashing into a house at 30 miles per hour , how the hell is that cool? How the hell is that even something that fits into a show as crazy as house , yes sure the car going into the house was poetic justice for house moving on with his life but why did it have to be some dam boring? I mean this is house! Not ER! Moving onto the second irritating problem , the patient it was made to look like this women was going to be seriously manipulative and make house really suffer and work to find the diagnoses , but no she goes in for a MRI and house spots it straight away and she agrees to the diagnoses given from the MD pure tripe that isn't a puzzle thats like sticking the wrong ends of a puzzle together and passing it off as if you had completed it properly.

Just a overall bland episode , boring and dull it was almost as if the writers are going the same way the lost writers did no where HA , if you guys cant come up with nice original story-lines keeping in tone with the plot and age certificate hit this board up! We have ideas

Never seen worse

Warning: Spoilers
Since lisa edelstien said she's departing The season has been worse and worse I've never seen a worse season than the last 1.5 seasons This episode tops it all Pointless Stupid No logic in breakup..no logic in post break-up No logic in season 8 ending..house has been out of character The Episode is really stupid to a degree that doesn't make any sense, this season + season 8 ending is worse than fan fiction.. everybody was out of character.. everybody was miserable because they decided that the show should no longer be about drama or medicine, only about pain even if it doesn't make sense.

Really?
lukaxkl14 July 2012
SPOILER: This episode as a season finale was a joke. As a regular episode it would be mediocre, but now...I am extremely disappointed by it.

Medical case- nothing really interesting, besides the fact that the patient was a performance artist. And I didn't like her because she lied about her symptoms.

Hilson- Not too much Wilson in this episode, except for the ending, and it was again only moralizing.

Huddy- The beginning was even O.K in this episode. Too bad that the writers ruined everything by giving cuddy new boyfriend. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huddy, I think that getting Huddy into the show was not a good idea, but I just couldn't stand her new boyfriend. Overall, besides the first dialogue I liked only the " You wanna know how I Feel" Line.

This episode is really the weakest season finale, and I can't give it a higher rating than a 5/10.
