This episode contains not merely predictable martial arts, but an actual story and characters, and even moral depth.

GLTAS was initially met with very mixed reactions thanks to the undesirable animation for most, but only 2 episodes in and you get used to the animation. This show seems like it will genuinely be good with a shocking twist im surprised they would allow. They actually destroyed a planet. Now the inhabitants weren't killed, but a lantern was. The fact that one of the characters is going to have to deal with essentially almost killing so many people is seriously great. The first episode was good, but it seemed a little cliche. Hal Jordan is just the hotshot, but we're seeing a little more depth to him in this episode. The voice acting is good all around, and the characters have fun interactions. It seems like we're in for a genuinely good series.
