Dead Friends is a morbidly charming short about a dog who makes friends with a zombie in a post-apocalyptic setting. The short was created by created by Changsik Lee, and it turned out quite enjoyable. Here's the synopsis:
Decades after a mysterious incurable zombie virus spreads throughout the world mankind is in danger of going extinct. Among the infected there is an old zombie and a dog that remains loyal to his master and hopes he will become human again one day.

The monster movie represents one of the most enduring genres in cinema, a versatile formula for exploring the horrors of the unknown. Whatever it is that scares us, there’s always a monster to represent that fear as a metaphor in the flesh. Most monsters are misunderstood creatures, victims of a terrible fate seeking redemption and, in some cases, vengeance.
Alien: Covenant, now playing in theaters, returns director Ridley Scott to a beloved franchise, following the mixed and controversial reception to Prometheus. The plot follows the crew of a deep-space colony ship, which lands on what appears to be an undiscovered paradise. This new planet holds many secrets for its new inhabitants, including David (Michael Fassbender) the surviving robotic companion of the Prometheus crew. Sadly, the series isn’t always consistent in quality (Alien: Resurrection was a definite low) but movie fans will always welcome a return visit to this classic monster movie territory.

Could this trailer Be any creepier?
Thanks to a very patient citizen of the internet, one with lots of time on their hands, we now have "Friends" recut as a horror movie. And there is life before, and life after, watching it.
Classic moments from the series -- including Phoebe's "My eyes! My beautiful eyes!" and the one where Monica wears a Thanksgiving turkey on her head -- get put through a very Hitchcockian, black-and-white lens with the help of a few jump scares and a moody score.
And to make it even more terrifying -- yes, Janice makes an appearance. *shudder*
Watch below... if you dare.

Jennifer Aniston has a Friends reunion idea to end all Friends reunions -- but you're not gonna like it.
The actress and her Horrible Bosses 2 co-star Jason Bateman showed up on The Graham Norton Show and she pitched a few ideas for the reuniting of Ross, Rachel, Joe, Chandler, Phoebe and Monica. The first idea was pretty adorable. "Honestly, we should just wait," she told the British talk show host. "I say we just wait until we're really much older and just be Golden Friends."

Norton had another idea to get rid of this Friends chatter once and for all, "Just make it grim and depressing so no one will ever want to see it again."
Aniston quipped, "Dead Friends."
Norton added, "It could just be a series of funerals."
NBC
Pleased with this idea, Aniston said, "Then we'll know that there's no reunion to have."

Rob tots up his wishlist for 24's small screen return in next year's 24: Live Another Day (beginning with that title...)
Jack’s coming back and it’s exciting news for all 24 fans. It gives us another chance to spend time with a character that escalated action TV into a thought-provoking, controversial programme that revelled in its no-holds-barred approach to resolving plots, tapping into society’s concerns surrounding surveillance, terrorism, rendition, interrogation and patriotism.
Unfortunately it was the stagnation of those plots that marred the later seasons, despite some stand out episodes (the seventh season pseudo two-parter of the White House takedown had it all – action, sacrifice, drama and the great Glenn Morshower). So with Fox announcing a stand-alone season of 24 to air next May, there is some trepidation that the fall in quality might continue. We already know that there will be changes,...

Today we came across this adorable (if one can put such epithet together in the same sentence as ‘a zombie film’) zombie horror short, called Dead Friends, and directed by Stephen W. Martin. You might say it’s a holiday short, because the main character carries an Easter Bunny stuffed animal around with her. Here, have a look: The story follows a bullied little girl who brings a little boy back from the dead. At the nine minute mark, you’ll see one of the best kid psycho faces ever! Synopsis: Nine year old Lola Turtle’s only companion is her treasured and tattered stuffed bunny, Mister Wimperbottom…...

Check out this adorably twisted zombie horror short called Dead Friends directed by Stephen W. Martin. I guess you can consider this a holiday short as well because the main character carries an Easter Bunny stuffed animal around with her. The story follows a bullied little girl who brings a little boy back from the dead. The film ended up being pretty solid; I liked the outcome. At the nine minute mark, you'll see one of the best kid psycho faces ever!
Nine year old Lola Turtle's only companion is her treasured and tattered stuffed bunny, Mister Wimperbottom... until she finds a way to grow her very own 'Dead' best friend.
The director says that the short was shot in two days and completed in eight days from beginning to end for the Crazy 8's film festival in Vancouver. Check it out and let us know what you think of it!

The TromaDance film festival makes it into puberty with their 13th annual edition and you won’t want to miss where they’ve grown some hair on May 4-5 at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, New Jersey. It’s two days of hormone-fueled short films, voice-changing features and a star-studded panel discussion.
Two features will be screening at the fest: Steven Kostanski‘s VHS throwback action sci-fi horror flick Manborg and the Trost brothers’ dance-fight video game frenzy The Fp.
The rest of TromaDance is stuffed to the gills with disturbing, grotesque and just downright freaky short films, including Greg Hanson‘s garbage disposal love story Sinkhole and Aaron Zegher‘s ghostly I See a Light. Short film blocks are broken down by theme, such as “Monsters,” “Zombies,” “Madness” and an absolutely not-for-kids “Saturday Morning Cartoons” collection.
Plus, on Saturday evening, there will be a panel discussion on the marketing...
