- Mitch is on the road but can't help seeing Rosie anywhere she looks. Linden continues to track Rosie's movements after she was last seen at the casino just after midnight. She's also trying to learn the identity of the man with the strange tattoo. She learns of Rosie's backpack from Stan and gets it from the now retired Lt. Oakes. She quickly realizes that Holder switched the backpacks. There's a fire at the shoe store where the Beausoleil escort service kept its computers. CCTV footage from the area around the store shows the man with the tattoo driving one of Stan's trucks. Darren Richmond is determined to continue his campaign. Gwen is thinking of leaving Seattle and taking a position in Washington. Stan is upset when Janek gives a gift to one of his boys as he doesn't want them to know about his past.—garykmcd
- Open with Mitch in her car driving down a highway with music blaring and a picture of her, Stan and Rosie on the dash. She drives by a hitchhiker who seems to be about Rose's age. She is staying in a dive hotel.
Linden is working on getting the security camera footage from the casino. She asks about the tattoo Holder looked into and learns about the image being a cartoon character. She doesn't think it seems like something a Beau Soleil client would have. Linden also finds out that Carlson didn't process her warrant for the Beau Soleil servers. She pushes him on it.
Holder drops by a Narcotics Anonymous meeting. He speaks to a female addict who seems like a former girlfriend. He doesn't end up going into the meeting.
Stan tells Terry he's "worked it out," and is no longer concerned about the family's safety. Linden drops by with a picture of the tattoo, but Stan refuses to even look at it because he is so upset with how the police have handled the case. He references the backpack, which Linden doesn't know anything about. In the car Linden makes a call and finds out Oakes took the backpack.
Richmond claims that he felt the warmth of the sun on his legs. His doctor is skeptical, but agrees to tell his neurologist. Richmond tells Jamie he's going to hold off on his pain meds until he sees the doctor.
Holder drops by to see his nephew at school. The boy seems to love Holder but has been instructed by his mother not to get into the car with him. Holder seems devastated.
Terry takes the boys to school and sees a large man standing by a car.
Linden pays Oakes a visit on his boat. He gives her the backpack from evidence. She goes through it and realizes something isn't right.
Richmond still won't take any morphine. He and Jamie watch one of Mayor Adams' press conferences and Jamie mentions his altercation with Abani. Adams hints that there still are "question marks" about Richmond's whereabouts the night of Rosie's murder.
Mitch spots a man at the hotel bar. She ignores one of Terry's calls.
Terry tells Stan she doesn't understand how Mitch could have left.
Linden leaves Holder a message saying she wants to talk about the backpack. She says "I get it." She watches Rosie's Super 8 video carefully. A cop comes in to tell her there was a fire at the shoe store where the Beau Soleil servers were held.
At the scene of the fire a cop tells her there were no computers found in the store. A neighbor called the fire department. Linden wants the offers to look at the security cameras surrounding the store.
Stan picks the boys up from school. One of them talks about meeting one of "daddy's friends," who gave them some food. Stan goes to see Janek and asks him to keep his children out of this. Stan tells him about Rosie being connected to Beau Soleil.
Holder stop by to see an old drug dealer buddy of his who lives with his mother in a trailer park. He ends up referencing Holder being a junkie and this sets Holder off. He starts punching the guy. When the man's mother come to his rescue Holder pushes her away violently into a wall. Holder grabs a bag of drugs and leaves.
Richmond's appointment with the neurologist doesn't seem to indicate that he has any actual feeling in his legs. He tells Jamie he wants to make a political appearance later that week.
Gwen meets with her father and asks about getting a job with a Senator in Washington.
Mitch and the traveling salesman from the bar end up in her room with drink. They begin to fool around.
Holder drops by the Narcotic's Anonymous meeting.
Linden continues to press about getting the footage from the Beau Soleil camera. Jack tells Linden the tattoo is from a book he owns. It's a graphic novel full of violence and sex.
When an attractive nurse changes Richmond's catheter he realizes he has no sensation in his genitals.
Holder and his female friend have sex in his car. She asks if he has any drugs.
Janek tells Stan he looked into the Beau Soleil thing there was no record of Rosie, just Russian girls. He tells Stan that the police won't tell him the truth. He also mentions that Rosie was alive when she was drowned. He gives Stan the coroner's file.
The camera footage is finally sent to Linden. They see one of Stan's company vans driving down the street. The man behind the wheel has the tattoo from Rosie's video. Holder's female friend calls Linden to tell her that Holder is acting weird.
Linden finds Holder walking through traffic and talks him down.
Mitch looks out here window and against sees the Rosie figure.
We see that Janek has the Beau Soleil servers. One of his men deletes all of the files.
We also see that the man with the tattoo is one of Stan's employees.
Holder shows Linden Rosie's real backpack.
