- The fighting out of cutscenes are very unrealistic and comical.
- Each and every cutscene is rather disturbing or violent.
- Spider man fights using his fists as well as heavy attacks using his webs to use debris to fight enemies while spider man 2099 fights using only his fists and only shoots webs.

Violence & Gore
- The fighting in the game is very unrealistic until the beginning and end cutscenes. One shows Spider-Man being flung into a wall breaking a leg and suddenly screaming in pain. He rises to be covered in blood and cuts.
- The end cutscene shows what happens at the beginning but at a more disturbing angel and then suddenly spider man is impaled by a white looking monster villain. Spider-Man dies.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Spider man being killed in the beginning and going back to the event later in the game could be intense to players.
