The following contains a very, very minor spoiler concerning the visual aesthetic and overall running time of a web-series from five years ago.
A solid, subtle lead performance from this series' co-creator can't redress its thin, one-joke premise. Despite what must have been a... strict budget, the overall look of the live-action segments is competent, yet cannot hide its overall cheapness; the inclusion of utterly disappointing animation also detracts from its appeal, as does lazy performances from slumming comedic actors.
On the bright side, it should only take you about 20 minutes to watch "Issues" in its entirety; it at least refuses to overstay its welcome.
