Guess Who is Back?
claudio_carvalho10 March 2013
Dean and Sam are invited by Annie Hawkins to have lunch with her. However she never appears in the restaurant. The Winchester brothers decide to investigate what she was doing and they find that she was researching the haunted house of Whitman Van Ness. They head to the house and find Annie's cell phone, but they do not find any corpse.

Meanwhile Bobby meets the ghost of Annie and together they decide to investigate the mystery of the haunted house. They discover that Whitman is an evil spirit that is killing people. But how can they contact Dean and Sam to warn them?

"Of Grave Importance" is a good ghost story where Bobby is back and helping Dean and Sam. Unfortunately Annie is introduced in this show and murdered in the next scene and this pleasant character was wasted. My vote is seven.

The show is getting better!

Warning: Spoilers
Supernatural is getting better. The series was stalling in mid-season. One of the main reasons the season was stalled was the loss of supporting character Bobby. The "Of Grave Importance episode" has a house trapped with spirits and a master spirit which absorbs power off the other ghosts. The boys find a way to fight off the evil entity and bring Bobby back all in one. The show lagged at the beginning, but as Bobby was re-introduced the show picked up. Bobby and the Winchesters have a synergy together. I wonder how the series is going to write in ghost Bobby with the Dick Roman character. I give "Of Grave Importance" a seven out of ten.

Ghost house

I love ghosts in spn and there was a lot of that in this ep. This was onw of the more creepy episodes and i loved the atmosphere plus the reunion of sorts. Just the way things wrap up so easy is disappointing.

Honestly probably top 5-10 episode for me

Warning: Spoilers
It's great seeing Bobby again and the flask story line going somewhere plus the plot is pretty horrifying if you think about it. Getting trapped in a house full of ghosts by other ghosts.

All good in this episode.

I'm rewatching the show, and to be honest I have totally forgot this episode (well, it has been 10 years since I have seen it). I love episodes told from different or unexpected angles. Also, Bobby.

Guess who's back? Back again?

Tell some friends! This episode deserves a higher rating. Bobby is back-sure he's a ghost but I've really missed him. And I really like Annie too. Shane we don't see her beyond this episode.

This episode is a good old haunted house MOTW episode, it was nice not to deal with Dick Roman and the Leviathans. Apart from Hellucifer, and the intro to Charlie, this season pretty much sucks balls.

I much prefer the MOTW week episodes in this season to the actual story arc. After the writers did an idiotic thing and killed Bobby the show pretty much went downhill after this season.

Dick can go to hell.

Stiff and perfunctory

Bobby remaining behind and becoming a spirit is the correct character beat. There's nothing really wrong or off with the plotting around this point. But there's nothing really understanding or engaging with the plotline. This episode suffers the most because everything is pat and superficial. This is supernatural on autopilot.
