This special may seem like 2 dif shows; the 1st half and the 2nd half. As an author, I know that the people who pay me will often force me to change or add material to make it more appealing to a larger audience. I feel that the first half of this special was aimed at the mature audience while the second half was based solely on people who could relate to a purely superficial set and may have been lost for the first half. The producers probably thought they were covering all their bases this way. But it just didn't work. The botily funtions portion was too steeped in fedish humor while the intellectual portion just sounded like unfunny material to the average comedy fan. So you end up with a lot of bad reviews from the people who were offended by the portion that was not aimed at them.
I'm a huge fan of stand up but I;ll admit this was not a great show because the last 30 min was not for me. I also think someone used Word to replace all commas, nouns and pronouns with Muderfuger which just sounded like trying too hard.
What I definitely appreciated was that Katt knew pale people were part of his fan base and treated them as family instead of outsiders looking in. Very refreshing.
To those who thought he wasn;t picking sides polidically, I think you just have a habit of compartmentalizing those hard slaps as irrelevant.
