The Personal Trainer

When the personal trainer and gym instructor in an academy Markus Kuzmenko is found dead on his garden with the skull smashed by a weight, Patrick Jane suspects that a female client might be the killer since Markus was a wolf. Meanwhile Patrick is reassigned to work with another team by Ray Haffner, but he plots a scheme to join the suspended Lisbon and her team to resolve the case, causing many troubles to his new crew.

"Little Red Book" is a funny episode of "The Mentalist", mostly because of the troubles he causes to his new team. The intrigue he causes between the short CBI Agent Rick Tork and the tall CBI Agent Anthony Niskin are hilarious and entertaining. The conclusion with the team together again is also great. My vote is eight.

Not a Bad One

This episode focused more on bringing the group back together, along with the destruction of the group Jane was assigned to. The criminal was pretty obvious after his/her first scene, and finding that person made it trivial. They needed to stretch it out in an effort to show the incompetence of the new leader, and that's why it took the long road. The ending was great, because there wasn't any guarantee as to which way it would go, though again, it is clear to see why they go in the direction they do. Good to see the original team back, and now they can get back to the cases. The pranks that were pulled were funny and realistic, made for a few good laughs.
