Drew Barrymore just made her music-video debut — and the song couldn’t be more perfect.
Singer Sza released the music video for her latest single, “Drew Barrymore,” on Tuesday, which features a special cameo by none other than the 42-year-old actress herself.
In the clip, Sza roams New York City, stopping by a pizza shop, laundromat and a house party before running into her favorite actress.
Barrymore’s surprise appearance arrives around the 2:15 mark, as the singer is sitting alone outside.
And while Sza is clearly a big fan of the actress, the feeling is mutual.

Many are keenly awaiting the return of "Star Trek". Not so much the Justin Lin-directed new film "Star Trek Beyond" in July, but rather its return to the place it has always truly been home - television.
Word came in November that Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, the creators and showrunners of two of the best network shows in the past decade - "Hannibal" and "Kings" - were set to executive produce a new "Star Trek" series for CBS' All Access streaming service.
One surprise though was the premiere date - January 2017. That was a long way off from the announcement, and left many wondering why the series wouldn't be ready for a late 2016 bow. Some put the blame on Fuller's commitments to HBO's fantasy series "American Gods," but this week it was CBS Corporation president Les Moonves who revealed the truth.

A few months back, we exclusively reported that CBS was finally set to move a new Star Trek series into production. While that news would later be confirmed, the exact logistics have remained hazy. After all, the hurdle that CBS has faced in getting a series made is that the Film and Television rights for Star Trek have been split up.
In a revealing speech at the Deutsche Bank Media, Internet & Telecom Conference, CBS Corporation President Les Moonves spoke a bit about how the process will work when it comes to bringing Star Trek back to a TV near you:
"When [CBS] split from Viacom ten years ago, January 1, 2006, one of the big sticking points, as you can imagine, was 'Star Trek.' You know, we both wanted it.They said 'It's a movie!' and I said, 'No, no, no, it's a TV show.' Actually, we're both right. So...

Earlier we had reported that Essel Vision, the creative and production studio of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (Zee), announced a multi-film deal to make its foray into mainstream commercial Hindi films, with Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Films, of which the first was the recently released Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - Irrfan Khan starrer Jazbaa. However, now we hear that Essel Vision has apparently backed out of the deal. In fact we hear that the reason Essel Vision backed out was the poor Roi (Return On Investment) of Jazbaa at the box office, taking into consideration the cost of production as well as recoveries the film has had till date, due to it failing to entice the audience. Compounding the film's lack luster performance (as per their estimates), the previous week's release Talvar and the Hollywood release The Walk went a long way in damaging Jazbaa's overall box office appeal.

"So why can't I sleep?"The rest of the trailer sets up the conflict between Tony and the new bad guy, The Mandarin, who warns "Today is the first day of what's left of your life."From there it's explosions, new suits, the destruction of Stark's Malibu home and an entire army of Iron Men. Yes, an army. While we can't wait for the third movie, we're also very interested to see what the next steps are for Rdj and The Avengers...

One of the year's biggest music successes wasn't defined by millions of record sales, arena tours or even a controversial headline. He simply released a music video.
Korean entertainer Psy became a worldwide sensation with his video for "Gangnam Style," a cheeky commentary on a wealthy Korean district in South Korea rapped entirely in Korean. It's humorous, over-the-top and includes a signature dance move that rivals the popularity of the Macarena.
Since the video's release in July, the video has surpassed Justin Bieber's "Baby" as the most-viewed clip on the internet, raking in approximately 990,900,000 views and counting.
By way of Australia, musician Gotye also hit it big this year with a hit single "Somebody That I Used to Know." Although strong sales helped bolster Wally De Backer's success, the 350 million views on YouTube for the music video also did wonders for the band's popularity. So much so that...

Drew Barrymore made her directorial debut back in 2009 with the quirky but enjoyable little indie comedy “Whip It.” Full to the brim with kick-ass females and high-octane roller derby action, it was an oddly enjoyable effort that felt fresh and original. Since then, Barrymore hasn’t seemed in a rush to line up her sophomore effort, instead making the short film “Our Deal” and popping up in front of the camera in “Going the Distance” and “Big Miracle.” Well it seems like she’s decided that now is the time to return to directing, and, erm, this one seems a little bit less fresh and original. The Hollywood Reporter have chosen to illustrate their article with a picture of Barrymore at the premiere of “Seeking a Friend For the End of the World,” and that seems rather apt, as she will direct Aron Eli Coleite’s script “The End” – an...

While Drew Barrymore earned a surprising amount of acclaim for her directorial debut, the roller derby dramedy Whip It, since its release she has largely stayed away from the director's chair. While she did direct a short film with Chloe Moretz, Shailene Woodley, Alia Shawkat, Miranda Cosgrove and Donald Glover in 2011 called Our Deal, she hasn't worked on helming a feature since 2009. In that time, she only starred in two movies as well, the romantic comedy Going The Distance and the whale-saving drama Big Miracle, but now she's finally ready to get behind the camera again. The actress-cum-director has been hired to helm the apocalyptic drama The End, according to THR. The trade says that the movie won't be your typical end-of-the-world story, in that it will be "humanistic rather than a downer, a meditation not on death but on life." The script, which was written by Aron Eli Coleite...

Nominations for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards have just been announced, with fan favorites The Hunger Games and Bridesmaids leading the pack with eight nods each, going neck to neck in categories "Movie of the Year," "Best Cast" and "Breakthrough Performance."
The typically Twilight-centric awards show surprisingly only included two nominations for Breaking Dawn -- Part 1, including "Movie of the Year" and a "Best Kiss" nod for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, which the real-life couple has nabbed three years in a row.
Kristen Wiig, Jennifer Lawrence and Melissa McCarthy are the most nominated ladies of the night with four nominations each, while Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill and Josh Hutcherson are the most nominated males, also with four nods apiece.

Season 1, Episode 3: "All Adventurous Women Do"
"Try and give less of a shit," guest star Jorma Taccone says during the third episode of "Girls," and it's advice Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Marnie (Allison Williams) eventually learn to take to heart. But not without seeing some major changes re-orient their respective sex lives first.
While "All Adventurous Women Do" zeroes in on Hannah and Marnie, it does so by rather inelegantly pushing Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) to the sidelines. The former goes off on a babysitting gig for a child belonging to Kathryn Hahn, who is utterly wasted in a cameo playing a documentary filmmaker, making a picture about the homeless. It's kind of a bummer to see someone so funny and talented who isn't given much to do. Jessa arrives dressed to work, essentially, in her underwear, a gag that is set up and then pretty much goes nowhere.

I started my day at the Spike Scream Awards on a shuttle bus, which carried press past Wisteria Lane (so cool!) and the Jaws set all the way to the outdoor amphitheater which housed the show. I ended the night washing down a slider with some red wine after a bear hug from Cuba Gooding Jr. Wanna know what happened in between? Read on for my account of the 11 Best Behind-the-Scene Moments at the Spike Scream Awards. I was there. For eight hours. And I screamed a lot…in a fangirl-y sorta way.

Last weekend, some of the biggest and best bands from all over the world parked their fluid-stained buses in the fluid-stained bus capital of the world, San Francisco, for the Outside Lands Music Festival. Outside Lands is a 3-Day outdoor festival in San Fran’s beautiful Golden Gate Park, a park whose streams would soon run amber with the urine of drunk a-holes. Now my own experience with music festivals was not necessarily great. Back in 2001, while I was studying abroad in Budapest, I made the “adult” decision to travel to Nuremberg, Germany (“Home of the Trials!”) for MTV’s Rock-Im-Park festival, mainly because Radiohead was going to be playing, with a side of Dave Coulier’s ex-gf Alanis. My friends and I bought sleeping bags but decided against getting a tent, because it was June in Germany and I was Tim Pawlenty sure it would be warm enough! Meanwhile...
