- Teresa Lisbon: Tommy?
- Tommy Lisbon: Teresa?
- Teresa Lisbon: Annabeth?
- Annabeth Lisbon: Annie.
- Tommy Lisbon: What are you doing here?
- Teresa Lisbon: What are *you* doing here?
- Wayne Rigsby: Wait, you know these people?
- Teresa Lisbon: This is my little brother Tommy.
- Teresa Lisbon: Jane and I have to go to work. You mind hanging out in my office?
- Annabeth Lisbon: Sure.
- Patrick Jane: [as Lisbon leaves] Rigsby is a nice, easy mark if you want to keep practicing.
- Teresa Lisbon: It's good that you spend time with your dad, but you should do other stuff, too. Kid stuff.
- Annabeth Lisbon: Why? I already know what I want to do.
- Teresa Lisbon: Really? What's that?
- Annabeth Lisbon: I'm gonna be a cop, like you.
- Teresa Lisbon: I'm flattered. I am. But I don't think you really know what you want yet. You don't have to. It's okay.
- Annabeth Lisbon: Yeah, I do.
- Teresa Lisbon: I sleep five hours a night. I haven't been able to get away to see you and your dad and your uncles in over a year. That's not what you want.
- Annabeth Lisbon: Aunt Teresa, you get paid to carry a Glock. You beat up people when they get out of line. You're totally badass.
- Teresa Lisbon: My point still stands.
- Teresa Lisbon: Listen, do you still want O'Brien?
- Tommy Lisbon: Well... yeah, sure.
- Teresa Lisbon: He's downstairs in Holding. I'll have them release him to you.
- Tommy Lisbon: Wow. Thanks.
- Teresa Lisbon: This doesn't mean I think what you're doing is right, but I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. You got a great kid there, so you're obviously doing something right. I'm proud of you, Tommy. Maybe even a little envious.
- Patrick Jane: Two fingers, just dip and remove. No hesitation. Want to give it a try? Okay.
- Annabeth Lisbon: [brushing past Jane and picking his wallet from his pocket] Did you feel that?
- Patrick Jane: Well, just slightly. Did you feel that?
- Annabeth Lisbon: [he holds out her own wallet] You're good.
- Teresa Lisbon: [approaching] Picking pockets. Nice.
- Patrick Jane: Oh, I promised I'd show her if she told me your best Auntie 'Reese stories.
- Teresa Lisbon: Don't you dare.
- Annabeth Lisbon: Of course not. I was just stringing him along.
- Patrick Jane: Oh, you were, were you? I guess I won't give you this, then.
- Annabeth Lisbon: [he holds up her cell phone] Hey!
- Teresa Lisbon: The DUI, Zubov, he's an economist. He's in Fairmont for some sort of trade conference. He stayed on for vacation.
- Patrick Jane: Fascinating, but not what you really want to talk about.
- Teresa Lisbon: I cannot believe my brother is a bounty hunter.
- Patrick Jane: There we go.
- Teresa Lisbon: Why, all of a sudden he's some sort of tough guy? Who does he think he's fooling?
- Patrick Jane: Not you.
- Teresa Lisbon: You know what bugs me? He didn't even tell me. It's not like we don't talk. I could have told him this was a bad idea. All he had to do was pick up the phone and call, but instead, nothing.
- Patrick Jane: Wonder why that is.
- Teresa Lisbon: I basically raised that punk and his brothers. It's not my fault if he doesn't communicate.
- [noticing Jane's smirk]
- Teresa Lisbon: Oh, you think it is my fault.
- Patrick Jane: No, I... I didn't say that. You said that. I say live and let live. We'd all be happier.
- Teresa Lisbon: Oh, mind your own business.
- Wayne Rigsby: Miss Kasser, we need to speak to your son. Where is he?
- Jori Kasser: [trying to fight back tears] That's the thing. I haven't heard from Steven since I talked to the chief.
- Officer Price: Steve's missing? Why didn't you say anything?
- Jori Kasser: I was hoping it was a coincidence. Sometimes he disappears.
- Wayne Rigsby: Do you think your son had something to do with the murder of Chief Green?
- Jori Kasser: No, not if he was sober.
- Patrick Jane: Problem?
- Grace Van Pelt: M.E. puts the time of death between 2 and 3 a.m. Zubov was in his room from the night on. He couldn't be the killer.
- Patrick Jane: Eh. It was a non-starter anyhow.
- Grace Van Pelt: And Sofia Chavez won't testify against him. We can't even touch the scumbag.
- Patrick Jane: World's full of scumbags we can't touch
- Grace Van Pelt: I know. I know. It's just...
- Patrick Jane: I hear you. It'd soothe your troubled soul if you could just stick it to this particular scumbag.
- Grace Van Pelt: Well, yeah. I guess it kind of would.
- Patrick Jane: [giving her a look] Shall we?
- Patrick Jane: We have to leave right now.
- Teresa Lisbon: I need to talk to O'Brien.
- Patrick Jane: Well, that might be a little difficult, because he's not in the building.
- Teresa Lisbon: Why not?
- Patrick Jane: Uh, I'll explain to you on the road. I know a great shortcut.
- Teresa Lisbon: [confused] Where to?
- Teresa Lisbon: What the hell is going on? Why are you here? What are you doing?
- Tommy Lisbon: I'm looking for a skip. A fugitive; someone who skipped bail.
- Teresa Lisbon: I know what a skip is. Since when are you a bounty hunter?
- Tommy Lisbon: I'm a Bail Enforcement agent.
- Teresa Lisbon: When I saw you last year, you were building decks with Eddie Duncan.
- Tommy Lisbon: Well, nobody wants a deck when the bank's at the door, 'Reese. I took a course in April. Tig Muldoon, Margot's cousin, he's a bondsman. He gave me a shot. I brought in six guys in the past two months; made, like, four grand.
- Teresa Lisbon: Tommy. Tommy.
- Tommy Lisbon: Oh, don't even start with that.
- Teresa Lisbon: With what?
- Tommy Lisbon: Busting my chops like you always do, like I don't know what I'm doing.
- Teresa Lisbon: Well, you don't.
- Tommy Lisbon: I know what I'm doing. I'm a professional.
- Teresa Lisbon: [sarcastic] Oh, right. Taking your thirteen year old daughter along with you as backup, that's very professional.
- Teresa Lisbon: [after questioning a suspect] Now all we have to do is find the woman he assaulted.
- Patrick Jane: Well, she's reluctant to make a public accusation. That's why the chief hung the DUI on Zubov.
- Teresa Lisbon: To buy time to convince the victim to testify. It fits. But without an actual victim, we don't have anything. I can't even get a search warrant for his room.
- Patrick Jane: Zubov's an opportunist. The question is where did he have opportunity?
