Released back in 2018 as a mobile game, Among Us became a global hit and one of the most popular games ever. There aren’t many people who can say that they’ve hadn’t played Among Us, as it was a truly global hit and a game that was intriguing on many levels. Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Elijah Wood lend the voices to the animated madness as four characters acting sus while trying to survive a John Carpenter’s The Thing-style mystery.
Featuring in the adaptation of the wildly popular social deception game is Randall Park as the voice of Red, Captain of the Skeld. Red is a people pleaser and blowhard. As a confident leader, Red is the type of crewmate who will fail upwards.
Ashely Johnson plays Purple, Chief of Security. Concerned with safety, prone to suspicion, and confident, Purple is a crewmember with trust issues.

Things are going to get a little sus with Poncle’s Vampire Survivors and the brand-new “Emergency Meeting” Dlc. The developer has announced this next Dlc for their hit roguelike features a guest appearance from Innersloth’s Among Us.
Arriving on the Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on December 18th (with a Switch release coming at a later date), the Emergency Meeting Dlc takes elements from Among Us, and re-interprets them “in a Vampire Survivors spin”. That results in 9 new characters, 15 new weapons (7 of which are evolutions), and a new map.
In keeping with the theme of Among Us, Poncle has taken the “tasks” you’re required to do in that game, and made them into weapons for Emergency Meeting. You’ll be able to blow enemies away with the sound waves from your Report! weapon, or slice up aliens with Lucky Swipe, for example. You’ll...

July seems like the month of Microsoft. The company recently won a huge legal battle over the FTC and signed a binding agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation for the next 10 years, which essentially removes one of the biggest hurdles that has prevented Xbox from acquiring Activision Blizzard. But Phil Spencer giveth, Phil Spencer taketh away, as Microsoft is officially ending the Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Games With Gold programs. However, the replacement is arguably superior.
This week, Xbox announced the latest addition to its Xbox Game Pass subscription lineup: Xbox Game Pass Core. This new tier of the service takes a page out of the PlayStation Plus playbook by merging the Xbox multiplayer service with its Netflix-like Game Pass. For $9.99 a month (or $60 a year) gamers can play online multiplayer titles on Xbox, receive special membership deals and discounts, and access a monthly library of complimentary games.

Kick has poached another big-name Twitch personality. The upstart streaming platform has come to terms with BruceDropEmOff (real name Bruce Ray Condones), who decided to leave Twitch after receiving a fourth ban from the Amazon-owned hub.
Condones is known for playing games like Among Us and Grand Theft Auto. He also collaborates with other notable streamers, including Twitch record-setter Kai Cenat. Though his latest Twitch ban kept him off the platform in the weeks leading up to his big move, he still maintained a passionate following. According to Streams Charts, one of Condones’ last Twitch broadcasts reached a peak audience of nearly 80,000 concurrent viewers.
Like other streaming stars, Condones revealed his platform-hopping decision through a cinematic video. In the clip, Condones wanders across a frozen landscape before traveling through a portal and landing at Kick HQ. He is greeted there by several of the platform’s top draws, including controversial creator Adin Ross.

In a studio overlooking Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, Rian Johnson is strapped to a lie detector machine. Next to him at the controls sits Natasha Lyonne, twiddling the device’s knobs with all the sinister intent of a supervillain. This photoshoot tableau is, of course, ripped right from the Meet the Parents Ben Stiller-Robert De Niro interrogation scene. Next, in an homage to the pithiest of TV detective tropes, Lyonne will pose at a typewriter, fake-talking into a rotary-dial phone. The visual nod this time goes to Angela Lansbury as Jessica Fletcher in Murder, She Wrote.
In fact, the late, great Lansbury is connective tissue for Johnson and Lyonne. Lansbury and Lyonne appeared briefly together in Johnson’s film, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, on a Zoom call playing the mystery game Among Us with Daniel Craig’s Detective Benoit Blanc.

At the start of Rian Johnson's 2022 murder mystery "Glass Onion," several characters — each from seemingly disparate walks of life — receive mysterious, elaborate puzzle boxes in the mail. The boxes seem to have come from Miles Bron, a wealthy tech industrialist, and self-proclaimed "disruptor," clearly modeled after dubiously important blowhards like Elon Musk. Each of the characters in question are old friends with Miles, and he occasionally sends out these puzzles for fun, but also when he has "important" to share. The first ten minutes of "Glass Onion" are devoted to Miles' compatriots calling each other on the phone and solving the boxes together.
One of the challenges in Miles' box is a tinkly piece of music from a miniature orchestrina. None of the characters can identify the piece in question, however. Not the politician Claire (Kathryn Hahn), not the scientist Lionel, not the Men's Right activist Duke (Dave Bautista...

This time, it was Charlie Cale, the star of her and creator Rian Johnson’s new Peacock series Poker Face.
