Perception of truth
TBJCSKCNRRQTreviews15 November 2013
This documentary consists of expert interviews(directors, biographers, physicists, etc.), narration, footage of things that are here now that played a key role in the books of the subject, film clips and reenactments.

It goes into the tremendously prophetic(heck, some of his predictions came true in his own lifetime) sci-fi writer, Philip K. Dick(R.I.P.). Whether his visions were drug-induced, due to schizophrenia, or something else entirely remains unclear. This covers in great detail the themes of his work and their consequences on our daily lives.

What does it mean to be human, androids and the implications of them(such as "the uncanny valley"), implanted memories, what is reality(with the sub-titles of machines taking over our lives and what actually exists, how one distinguishes between the virtual and the real as well as addiction to things that aren't actually there), technology going into the mind, paranoia about surveillance and other government power, precognition, predetermination vs. free will and alternate time-lines/parallel universes.

There is disturbing content throughout this. I wholeheartedly recommend this to any fan of the amazing author. 8/10
