Great stuff - highly recommended

I cannot recommend 'Turbulence' enough - with some outstanding performances from the cast, the touching romantic interactions are perfectly balanced with endless laugh out loud comedy, and there's a great soundtrack. Music plays a big part in this film, and the Battle Of The Bands competition around which many of the story's strands revolve gives some great performances from the excellent "Scholars" and some hilarious audition turns (including the lyrical genius that is Shumdog Millionnaire!!). 'Turbulence' is equally moving and hilarious, brilliantly written and beautifully made - my congratulations to cast and crew - Go see! Great stuff.

Touching, humorous and original.

It's not often that a British comedy featuring nineteen and twenty-somethings manages to be very original and funny, without resorting to endless jokes about getting very drunk and other toilet-related incidents. Turbulence embraces it's British-ness in a Richard Curtis sort of way; there's many laugh out loud moments throughout and refreshingly, all of the characters are easy to relate to, unlike many other recent teen offerings.

The 'Mr Darcy' moment is particularly tongue in cheek and there are plenty of other comical moments, with hints of slapstick from the excellent Russell Shumway (Connor Mills), a happy-go-lucky DJ with an eye for stardom. Both the direction and soundtrack are perfectly suited to the feel-good script about a music venue owner who's looking for a way to keep his business alive. The contribution from the up and coming band, 'The Scholars,' is also worth a mention, with the lead singer (Adrian Banks) doing a brilliant job as a young man struggling to balance his love for music and the girl of his dreams.

Go See!

Turbulence is a kooky, charming and beautifully shot film with some great performances. The highlight for me was the 'Darcy' references - laugh out loud comedy gold. I could have done with even more, and I doubt you would have found a woman in that audience that didn't agree. Some great direction and, to my shame, I wasn't sure if the band music was going to work, but it was surprisingly catchy and original and well performed. I'm still not sure how they managed to pull it off with such a small budget and such little time, a credit to the whole cast and crew...imagine what would happen with more! Hilarious in parts and touching in others, a light hearted must-see! (but maybe not for the whole family!)

Turbulence is the perfect mix of romance and comedy, with some sad bits, suited to a hilarious and varied cast. I've seen this twice now, the first time, one funny bit in particular had me in stitches for 20 minutes, the second time around I was already laughing remembering this was part was coming up, and also laughing anticipating some of the hilarious one- liners. The Scholars, the band in the film, are ridiculously professional and catchy, their music wouldn't seem out of place in the charts. Overall the film is very fresh and very British (Darcy references!). The script and direction is perfect and is just a very heart-warming film.

Turbulence is an hilariously funny, feel good movie! I highly recommend this film, the characters are great - you will find one of your friends or even yourself reflected in at least one of the characters, they are very easy to relate to! It is very well written! As I said, it's funny and you will laugh out loud! The band and the soundtrack are both amazing! I now find myself humming the songs from the film! After the film has finished you are left with a nice feeling after the romantic story lines work themselves out, every body loves a happy ending! There is also nice eye- candy for both female and male viewers! It's a really well made British, low-budget film! GO SEE TURBULENCE! You will find yourself quoting the script and singing the songs!
