As time draws closer to the opening of Trophaeum Tower, a powerful group known as Sleeping Forest begins targeting people capable of opposing them for control.
In terms of good I will admit it was nice seeing the team again after so many years and i thought the voice acting, music and art style was good. Note: there is no English dub for the OVA as ADV had shut down a year before it could get licensed.
As for the bad I really hated how Ringo despite being on the poster after the first episode was not in the rest of the series. I can understand that she was in a heavy battle with her crush Ikki and was probably recovering but surely they could have at least had in the final Ikki reunited with her also what type of fashion scene is a red ripped T-shirt with half jeans with a missing sleeve. Simika as well was another under-utilised character who only had two scenes.
Moving on to the final two episodes I do hate how they turned Rika aka Ikki's older sister like figure against and was nothing like who knew from the anime, ditto for Sora those just never work as villains. Most of the storm rider teams were still themselves at least however what I didn't like was how suddenly they made Emily/Emiri a member plus I could tell that she was the weakest member. I will always see Emiri/Emily as Kazuya's love interest and support character but not a Kogarasumaru member.
Now on to her first Yaoi she was completely useless in the entire OVA like seriously all she was doing was riding on a flying turtle. There was a good opportunity for her to get in on the action like when Agito's almost death and could've passed the mantle on but no, they had pull off a very weird scene were she throws off her clothes while in front of a unconscious agito and yeah... I am not going to go to much into depth on that scene but I don't see what was the point of it. Also scene when did those two all of a sudden have feelings for each other?
So yeah I personally found this disappointing.
