Warning: Spoilers
Warning do not read unless you've seen episode.

It's always the last thing we think would ever happen but sometimes it does, it just shows no matter how many battles are triumphed, wars survived, or how long we've evaded it death is never far behind.

This is the start to one of the most emotionally gut wrenching arcs ever which to me predates other emotionally charged arc episodes from "Once Upon a Time", "Doctor Who", etc. But this is still the best in my book; it's true that by today's standards it doesn't have the same impact that it did years ago, it was one of those events where you kinda had to of been there when it happened. However to me no matter how much time passed like a scar, you never forget the pain.

The whole episode has this ominous feeling of dread and doom as we see the sky turn black and red, and everywhere left and right everyone is dropping like flies as Galxia's power is stealing everyone's star seeds, it sort of reminds me a little of the sci-fi horror film "Lifeforce" which was about space vampires feeding on lifeforce energy.

We see the Star Lights go against Galaxia but their efforts turn out to be useless. It then all comes down to the Inner Sailor Senchi, they have no way to help them but then Chibi Chibi transports them to their location. Seeing that I had a very bad feeling despite noble intentions, they were making a big mistake as they are not fully prepared or even have a plan to beat Galaxia. Though a part of me was hopping that may'be somehow they might be able to somehow turn things around.

But then suddenly my fears have came to pass when the most unthinkable thing happens which I honestly didn't see coming. Galaxia blasts out her star seed extraction bolts and the bolts come toward the Sailor Senchi and hit them.

It then comes down to the saddest final moments I've ever seen when we see first Ami, Makoto, and Minako say some final things and then just fade away. However the one that was the most gut wrenching for me was seeing Sailor Mars/Rei Hino my favorite character in the entire show; Both Sailor Moon/Usagi and her have one final conversation together and we just see the emotion exercised which was touching and sad, I remember thinking in those moments "Please, please don't go." But there was nothing I could do nor Usagi, after the final words Rei then fades away. I'll admit just like Usagi in that final moment I just broke down and cried, the loss of both the Inner Senchi but most of all Sailor Mars/Rei just made my heart shatter to pieces. The worst part was the sense of powerlessness, the fact there was nothing Usagi could of done or even myself, I couldn't help but think "I could of done something anything." I know that sounds strange but all the same that's an awful feeling, the inability to save someone you care or love.

However the knife twists even deeper as we see in the final minutes another person in Usagi's life has been lost. From this point on things are about to get a hell of a lot worse.
