When a character is pinned against a tree being eaten by a crocodile, he has a branch poking out of the left side of his throat. A few seconds later, it's on the other side of his throat.
At the beginning of the movie, Reba and Dennis jump into the lake clothes and all, but when they return to the dock, both of them are completely dry, clothes and all.
A character is shown with a rifle using a flashlight. The view through his rifle scope is green indicating night vision. Use of the flashlight would make the night vision device useless.
The "wild turkey" walks up to the electric fence "gobbling." First, it's not a wild turkey. It's a heritage breed turkey, possibly a Bourbon Red. If it was wild, it would be an Eastern Wild Turkey. It is definitely not. Second, "gobbling," is only done by (male) Tom turkeys. The turkey they use, is a hen. Hens don't gobble. They make a high pitched yelping sound. Hens are seldom seen alone. Third, if a large predator like a croc were close by, the hen would be nowhere to be seen, much less hanging out on the ground--forget the croc; the boy would have frightened her away.
Police vehicles do not use the siren when pulling up to a crime scene with no other traffic present. Doing so would deafen the people such as the deputy by the fence gate.
The supposed wild turkey in the scene walks up to the fence calling, yet its beak never opens; obviously this turkey is a ventriloquist.
When Loflin is talking to his son at the start of the film he says "Look at me." At no point in the conversation did his son look away from him.
Near the beginning as Reba gets ready to shoot the rifle, she chambers one in the gun but never lock the bolt down. The way she carries, handles, and shoulders firearms throughout the movie, it's obvious that she has never handled them before.
The bus driver is facing away from the lake when the crocodile grabs him from behind so he should have fallen face down. Instead he's face up towards the lake.
The bus driver is a few feet away from the two girls in the lake, they walk past him and a couple of seconds later he is attacked by the crocodile and screams. The girls would have heard this and gotten help, yet the next morning it is as if no one knows what happened to him, and everyone is unaware of the attack.
The soldier fires a handgun within walking distance of the bus, yet none of the people on the other side of the bus in the woods hear the shots. This same error is repeated when Reba fires her rifle several times and none of the kids hear it even though they are a short distance away.
In Lake Placid 3, Reba's body is shown with the lower half eaten up in the 1:23:00 mark. In this feature, she is fine.
With all the talks about not killing and rather saving these crocodile as they were last of their ilk, why did they put an electric fence which will kill any crocodile that touches it.
