- A powerful Alpha seems to have lost his mind and is attacking people at a hospital forcing, but as the team tracks him down they each begin to lose touch with reality.
- Open with a man named Adam at the morgue identifying his sister's body. As he's walked away he hears his sister's voice and sees that she's alive. He battles security to get to her, even crawling along the ceiling at one point. Adam then snaps out of it and sees his sister was dead the entire time.
Nina drops by to see Rosen after hours. He tells her he wants to take a different approach with her recovery. Parrish has a charity that has made several sizeable donations to a New York senator. Rosen wants her to look into the senator.
Hicks' son is not coming to visit him as planned. Harken tells him he's been going to the fight club. Rachel is having trouble accepting Nina as part of the team.
Adam's video made its way onto YouTube, so the team is aware of what happened.
Nina uses her power to get the senator to tell her what she did in return for donations from Parrish's foundation. But the senator can't tell her anything specific, saying the information is "gone."
Rosen tells Adam he thinks intense grief was responsible for him seeing his sister alive and wants to send him to a clinic. Harken and Hicks will escort him to the facility.
In the elevator Adam begins to hear his sister calling for him. He tells the orderly he needs to get off and escapes through the top of the car and up the shaft.
Gary attends Anna's funeral with Rachel. Gary makes a scene and as Rachel leaves her phone rings.
Rachel and Gary arrive at the hospital to help the guys find Adam. While she guides them to Adam, Gary gets a tap on his shoulder. It's Anna. But since she's talking he realizes something is up. A custodian tells him nobody is there. The Anna hallucination begins to break up.
Nina tells Rosen about the senator. He thinks she might still be able to retrieve the information using other methods. For practice he has Nina try and retrieve old information from Kat, who is undergoing a sleep study in the office. Using Kat's sensory memory Nina seems to be able to get the process started but starts having trouble.
The image of Anna keeps disappearing and reforming, following Gary up the stairs.
Rachel takes Harken to the room where she believes Adam is located. But she turns around and finds Harken is gone. Adam is on the ceiling and jumps down on top of her.
We see that Hicks and Harken are unable to find Rachel.
At the airport to meet the senator Rosen asks Nina about what happened to her during the session with Kat. She says she's fine.
Harken calls Gary about not being able to find Rachel.
Nina works on the senator. She gets a few tidbits before she's pulled away for her flight, including something about August.
Harken sees lights flashing as he looks for Rachel. Hicks has visions of his son.
Adam is with Rachel, believing she is his sister. She escapes and runs to an elevator. She carves "I'm drowning" into the elevator wall. We see Adam at a sink, under the impression he's saving somebody who is drowning. A hand pulls him into the water.
Harken runs into Gary, who tells him about Anna. Hicks thinks he is seeing his son being put into a morgue chamber. Harken finds Adam's body facedown in the sink.
While with Anna, Gary sees a tray full of instruments moving. He has discovered a certain kind of sonic frequency is causing the disturbances, but isn't sure what is causing it.
Rosen arrives and Harken tells him what is going on. Gary tells Rosen about the frequency, which has a dramatic impact on people's brains. Gary recorded Anna's signal and after making a few modifications they are able to hear "I'm drowning."
Rachel is at a pool, thinking she sees Nina drowning at the bottom. Hicks thinks he's been operated on. Harken sees himself and the two Harkens begin to fight.
Gary finds a 16-year old patient in a vegetative state named Jason in the hospital who might be the one communicating. Rosen leaves to look for him. Gary meets up with Anna and the two find him first. Rosen arrives but Gary won't let him in, saying that if they wake Jason up he'll lose Anna. Rosen tries to explain to him that Anna isn't real. Anna advises him to save Jason and Gary lets Rosen in. Rosen injects Jason with a medication and immediately all of the hallucinations cease.
Rachel had been underwater for some time and Harken rushes to her, eventually able to get her breathing.
Rosen asks Jason what he remembers. He can't think of anything. Rosen sees that they are using a new photic stimulator on the comatose patients. It is manufactured by "August Medical."
Hicks shows up unannounced to see his son and spend some time with him.
Kat teaches herself to draw and seems to be sketching someone from her past.
Gary tells Rosen that August sent the devices to thousands of hospitals across the country. After Rosen leaves Gary gets a message from @AnnaLives which says "The revolution is coming."
