"Asking Alexandria: Through Sin and Self-Destruction" is a 15-minute short film from 2012, so this one has its 5th anniversary this year. It was made by Frankie Nasso and Ash Avildsen and features the band in the title, pretty uncreative name though in my opinion. Apparently we see three of their music videos cut together into this film and honestly I see zero creative appeal in here. Actually, there is some metal out there that I like, but this band here seems as generic as it gets and their songs sound completely the same and interchangeable. So what we are hearing is pretty bad. Then what about what we are seeing? Same level of bad I must say. We see the band's alcoholic, pornographic and party excesses basically from start to finish. The mention of the word "sin" in the title already tells everybody that this is just another pretty desperate attempt by the "artists" in here to make a film (or 3 videos) as controversial and shocking as it gets. It is all make-believe and offers zero credibility or substance, so don't fall for it. Actually truly hilarious that one of the lists here on IMDb where this film is included is called "Movies with a good story line". No words for that description. It's 15 minutes as random, messy and uninspired as it gets. Stay far far away.
