Sex & Nudity

  • Human trafficking plays a very small role in the game. A optional mission allows you to go into a brothel (no nudity). If you go into the back room, you see girls being auctioned off. No nudity is shown. These scenes are brief, and can easily ignored/avoided/skipped.
  • Very little nudity or sex in this game. Like others have mentioned, there is a mission in which you see girls being auctioned off, but no nudity is seen.
  • Male nudity can be briefly shown in one scene
  • This is rated moderate for male nudity in a couple scenes
  • NPC Clara which you see in cutscenes has a quite large cleavage.
  • Full breast nudity unavoidable in few missions.
  • There is actually sex in this game. A mission requires you to scout out a gang hideout, and you see girls who are human trafficking victims performing oral sex, until it's finished. And one guy is having anal sex with a woman. No nudity on any of them, and you can see it from behind, but there's graphic sex talk while it happens.
  • If you play a mission, while following a gangster, you see a group of girls getting shipped with full breast nudity exposed. Severe level and definitely not for children.
  • One optional mission allows you to go into a brothel. No nudity is shown but the girls outfits are skimpy.

Violence & Gore

  • The player can attack enemies with a baton by silently choking them or whipping them to knock them out.
  • The player can intervene in a potential crime that can occur.
  • The player also chases enemies on foot and can perform violent takedowns.
  • Lots of action throughout.
  • You can shoot your way through the game, but you can do a pacifist route, and the violence in the PlayStation version is only as bad as Uncharted Franchise.
  • Contains frequent strong violence involving many shootouts, explosions, and stealth.
  • Violence depicted throughout the game rarely emphasises pain or injury, and blood is not depicted in overt detail.
  • While the player can attack civilians, they will be targeted by police for doing so. While police may be evaded, the player will earn an ill-repute with civilians, making them more prone to alerting the police of the player's presence.

Profanity

  • "Cunt" is used in the European versions of the game. In the US and Australian versions, this is replaced with "Bitch" instead.
  • Other Ubisoft games such as Far Cry 3 feature more frequent swearing
  • The game also contains use of milder terms such as "shit", "bitch", "pussy" etc.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Contains infrequent references and depictions of substance use, including alcohol, tobacco and cannabis.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The game can be disturbing at times, as it tells you what hackers are capable of by showing you all the information Aiden can get from hacking into a person's phone. These include (but aren't limited to) their name, their age, and where they work.
  • There is a lot of intensity throughout the game.
  • You can hack traffic lights causing car crashes.
  • This is a more grounded in reality game. The sequels are campy, and over the top moments, but this one is a revenge story
  • The game contains a strong sense of threat or menace, as players are required to stealthily infiltrate enemy forces.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This game can be very depressing to some because the game revolves around your characters niece being killed and you are getting revenge on the gang and people who killed her
