Supergirl may just be acclimating to its new CW home, but that isn't stopping the series from adding a boatload of characters to its second season. A couple days ago, it was confirmed that they would finally show Superman in full in the upcoming season, but that's only the tip of the iceberg. TVLine has revealed five new characters that will make their way into the show.
First up is Lex Luthor's younger sister, Lena Luthor, though her role remains unclear in the story. Though she may be Luthor's kid sister, she won't necessarily be young. The outlet said she'd be aged between 25 and 35, and is determined to get out of the shadow of her older brother. While there's nothing inherently wrong with this reveal, it does bother me that Supergirl is a character who is also trying to get out of the shadow of Superman...and yet we're given...

Veteran comics writer Roger Slifer is fighting for his life after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Santa Monica, CA. it’s being reported on Twitter and elsewhere. Best known as the co-creator of Lobo, Slifer, 57, has worked as an editor and writer in the comics, animation and video game industries. According to reports, Slifer was struck by a white sedan at Fifth Street and Colorado Avenue early Saturday morning and taken to Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition with a serious brain injury. Reports are coming in that Roger Slifer, the co-creator of DC Comics’ popular Lobo character, appears to have become the victim of a hit-and-run incident that occurred early Saturday morning in Santa Monica. Together with artist Keith Giffen, Roger Slifer helped to create the classic anti-hero Lobo, a popular fixture in the DC universe who was first introduced in Omega Man #3 in 1983.
