Loving somebody like this song would be quite an insult

The title "Selena Gomez & the Scene: Love You Like a Love Song" gives away perfectly what these (luckily short) 3.5 minutes are about. We get the music video for the Selena Gomez song in the title and hearing this one I must say I doubt the talent of everybody involved with this one, nut just Gomez. Honestly, the title manages to be stupidly simple yet confusing garbage at the same time. The lyrics are as empty as it gets and the tune isn't really catchy either. add to that Gomez' really forgettable voice that is not better than 1 million other American teenage girls' voices I am sure. These however did not sleep with Justin Bieber and perhaps they also don't have Gomez' looks. I'd call her a poor man's Rihanna judging from her singing here and as I don't think Rihanna is talented at all, you can imagine very well what that means. The visual effects, costumes and makeups are all over the top in here and the Chris Colfer lookalike playing the piano here summarizes the film really well. It's gooey glittery wrapping without an actual present inside. Or in short: This is not the music you want your kids to grow up with if you love them. Stay far far away.
