Maura helps Jane moving, notably putting together Jane's bed while Frankie and Frost -supposed to do the lifting- and even Angela rather focus on her foxy new neighbor, Riley, when they're called onto the case of a dead bride. Frankie, Korsak and Frost handle a call of a person with a part of the cake that was missing from the crime scene and Korsak get Frankie to calm her down so they can get the knife away from the insanely jealous and self-deluded ex of the groom. Jane and Maura see Riley date Frankie and moments after he leaves, Frost but the explain to Maura that's men code confirm. Later on, Leah has 'gone missing', Jane and Korsak fear abducted. Going to ask Riley to help with her mattress, Jane overhears her ordering liquid ecstasy on the phone, next day Jane 'finds' a barred police narcotics file on Riley. Frankie does his interview to become an inspector. Maura finds a branded Cyrillic k on the victim's neck, fitting the Balkanic mob practice of carving as intimidation. An advertisement in Leah's 'Wedding Album' leads the team to to an old car company and its building filled with women being sold. When Jane asks not-amused Cavanaugh if Frankie blew his promotion, the drug team brings in Riley and the rest of her drug gang,Cavanaugh sneers that if Frankie can't even read his date, he's not fit to be a detective and scolds the others. Jane, Korsak, and Frost find and save Leah just before the killer can slit her throat.
