Good stage presence with good material, certainly worth watching.

This was a first for me. I never heard of Sebastian Maniscalco before so I didn't really know what to expect. I like discovering new stand-up comedians that make me laugh and he's one of them. His material wasn't bad at all, I laughed for almost the entire show, but his stage presence is certainly as good as his jokes. He's all over the place, very expressive and mimical, and that was a positive part of the show. Some good comedians just bring their jokes in a static way, he's the complete opposite. I like both genres as long as the jokes are good, but to be honest if I had to choose I prefer a more active stage presence, and Sebastian Maniscalco does that perfectly well.

The bit on having company over is 100% true.

We opened our doors to everyone in the 80's. I remember my mom buying encyclopedias this way. Nowadays, I look at my camera app to see who's at the door. I tell my kids never ever go to the door. I might take 4 steps down stairs to look at the front door, but not a 5th because I know from the front door view they will see my foot if I'm on that 5th step. In this modern world, we don't get company anymore, just solicitors. And when friends come over, they do exactly what SM talked about, they text... "We are here," or "turning on Grand ave. be there in 1 minute." LOL! Nobody you know rings on doorbells anymore, it's all solicitors.

Best Stand Up Comic

Sebastian is by far the best stand up comedian. Luckily I get to listen to The Pete and Sebastian show every week because I have worn out all Sebastian's stand up specials!

Laughed So Hard 🤣 Abs Hurt: One of Our Top Favorite Comedy Specials
reunitingall21 September 2022
Very talented Sebastian Maniscalco is the most HILARIOUS🤣 and AWESOME in this special!

There were many moments we could relate to-for all of his Netflix specials-and moments where we laughed so hard 😂, our abs hurt.

So much so that we watched this particular special three times over the years, still laughed each time, and recommended it to others (who also enjoyed it).

His other specials were great too, but his creatively animated and entertaining verbal and nonverbal expressions were SPOT ON in this one, and not too exaggerated.

He has become one of our favorite comedians, and we look forward to seeing him live one day, if he ever comes to scorching hot AZ; there's AC inside buildings! 😁

I'm glad this is his first special I discovered

Because it's hilarious and his newer specials are sadly not as funny.

But this one was so refreshing, his delivery, stories and confidence were super fresh. It's not your average beta male comedian with self-pitying cringy humor - this fella is confident and I really liked seeing a male comedian act like this for once.

Overall a definitely must see comedy special. He's got the combined presense of Brian Regan and Bill Burr, which is a win. But of course - his own unique and fantastic delivery.
