It's Reading Between the Lines ***1/2

Warning: Spoilers
Still another enjoyable episode of this show based on the workings of trying to make a Broadway show about the late Marilyn Monroe.

The opening sequence envisioning what the first scene shall be like was most entertaining to say the least.

What is Anjelica's ex-husband trying to do? Sabotage the show? This was essentially an episode devoted to backstabbing. Everyone seems ready to cut the next person off. Only the Huston part shows some integrity and she visits Nick in prison.

As for Ivy, she is in a show with this lunatic who wants to make everything comical. Up against her dramatic performance in a rehearsed scene, we can see that there appears to be plenty of trouble ahead for this production as well.

I guess we must wait for Eileen's decision next week which is funny because I do not one bit about one direction they take the show because it is not one of my favourites. Debra Messing's Will & Grace co-star makes his first appearance on the show and I actually liked his appearance from a comedian doing drama to an almost crazy person near the end of the episode. Karen and the two inspiring song writers is not much good either since it's funny how mad they get at nearly everything that happens to them. Once again the Bombshell musical has become so bad I do not care for anything they do involving it. The episode was better then previous if only for Sean Hayes as I found him at the least watchable and him with Megan Hilty makes for watchable moments in a show that is laughable how much of a big deal it makes out of everything.

EPISODE GRADE: C (MVP: Sean Hayes)
