Mention of Haymarket to Jackson references the bombing that occurred at a peaceful pro-labor, pro-strike rally on May 4, 1886, at Chicago's Haymarket Square. The anarchist was never identified, and the incident resulted in the deaths of seven police officers and four citizens plus numerous injuries. It was dubbed :The Haymarket Riots," and is also termed "The Haymarket Affair" and "The Haymarket Massacre."
