Best episode of the season
softley16 September 2023
Easily the best episode of the season though that's not saying too much overall this season is a 5/10 however this episode sees some plot lines finally develop further and see some questions finally answered although we have way more still unanswered. The characters are still very unlikeable if we even see them at all. There's quite a few characters missing from this episode and also too quickly forgets the death of the previous episodes ending. This episode creates more plot holes but none more than previous episodes all in all this whole season is very mid the only saving grace in this episode was the pacing felt good for once and discovering information.

I'm warming up to this season of AHS
sysgoddess10 November 2022
After giving this season a dismal rating (3 /7) I decided to persevere & have continued watching after al despite earlier episodes being an absolute sloggest that I had great difficulty getting through I still intensely dislike most of the characters but find that it doesn't matter and even seems to be somewhat intentional on the part of the writer(s).

I'm glad II continued watching though as episodes 4, 5 & 6 have slowly been rewarding me but by bit until this episode has rewarded me in spades Jeff Hiller is excellent as the character Mr Whitely and his character really set the vibe of this season for me. He's perhaps my favourite character.

I hope itcontinues to engage me for the remainder of the season.

Working Together

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Gino and Patrick, they visit Hannah. Patrick warns Sam that two bodies have been found on Fire Island. Henry gets the order to stop Gino to write more articles. Sam and Patrick arrived at Fire Island. It gets clear that Patrick and Sam are working together. Patrick killed Billy in 1979. It also gets clear that Whitely and Henry worked together. Whitely cuts Billy his body in parts. Whitely drugged Henry. Whitely ubducted Henry. Solid Episode of American Horror Story Season 11, just another solid one. I give this a seven! This Season is not improving, but it isn't worse either.

Smashing

Warning: Spoilers
I'm having a lot of fun here. Joe Mantello is superb, and no, he doesn't need to go back to directing, he's portraying the part perfectly. The character work has been excellent, especially for Gino, Mr. Whitely, and Henry. In my opinion, this was easily the best episode of the season so far. I liked the reveal that Henry is a hitman of sorts, as well as Mr. Whitely being a sort of sidearm for Henry. The scene on Fire Island was shocking and lots of fun, it gave us Henry & Mr. Whitely's fascinating dynamic, as well as some backstory into both Sam & Patrick. I always assumed Big Daddy was a ghost of one of the killers' victims, or perhaps Sam went too far, but now I'm a little lost as both of them acted like it was the first and only time it happened, I can only imagine that Big Daddy is a victim of Mr. Whitely. Anyways, this season has been a slow burn but I'm finding it's so far been worth it, and I'm enjoying it a fair bit.

S11.E6 - Mr. Whitely [8/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S11. E6) My Live Reaction / Review for American Horror Story Season 11 Episode 6 ''The Body''. Episode 5 was good and I gave it a rating of 7.6/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. So this guy that Henry was talking to wants Gino killed? Patrick and Sam are working together? Why? I didn't even know that they know each other. So a few years back Sam and Patrick accidentally killed that guy while having sex? Interesting. Henry knows Whitely and they work together? That's insane! I don't understand why Henry is willing to help Gino catch the killer though. Overall a really good episode, my rating is 8/10.

I am. Just. Bored.
Maybe I have been bingeing on far too much of AHS during the last two months but I am getting really bored by it. This current season is number eleven and I really think that the franchise is running out of steam. I don't think that I can stomach much more mutilation.

I cannot work out whether it's the acting or the script but something's awry? Some of the plot lines seem a bit 'League of Gentlemenish' to me. There's no humour to balance the gore though.

The early days of Aids trope is probably the most interesting in my opinion. The setting, costumes and backgrounds are impressive though. Maybe S12 will be better, but as it's slated to star Kim Kardashian, I have my doubts.
