Mind Over Matter: The Truth About Telekinesis (2009)

This ten-minute featurette can be found on the Deluxe Edition release of Friday THE 13TH PART VII. In the film Jason met his match in a girl with telekinesis powers so that's the focus of this documentary as Dr. Barry Taff and psychic Jack Rourke talk about the film and if those powers are possible. I must admit that I never in my life thought I'd see a documentary about a Friday THE 13TH movie where it was done in a serious, medical way. I can't say that I was entertained by this thing because the entire subject just came off as rather silly and especially since both men involved weren't all that engaging. I will say that there are a couple nice stories with one coming from Taff who talks about a woman who could use her powers except for a time when she was being raped. The doctor tries to explain why these powers might only happen when you don't need them.
