The Top 40 Qualifiers round, where Yianni and Bert sit down to watch all the acceptable entries back to back and make a quick decision on whether to invite the candidate to the Auditions or leave them out. It wasn't easy.
This is the FIRST Auditions Group where Candidates 1-10 will step up in turn and choose to wrap either a Wing Mirror Cap, Petrol Flap or Door Handle in either Gloss Red, Gloss Grass Green or Gloss Light Blue.
This is the SECOND Auditions Group where Candidates 11-20 will step up in turn and choose to wrap either a Wing Mirror Cap, Petrol Flap or Door Handle in either Gloss Red, Gloss Grass Green or Gloss Light Blue.
This is the THIRD Auditions Group where Candidates 21-30 will step up in turn and choose to wrap either a Wing Mirror Cap, Petrol Flap or Door Handle in either Gloss Red, Gloss Grass Green or Gloss Light Blue.
This is the FORTH Auditions Group where Candidates 31-40 will step up in turn and choose to wrap either a Wing Mirror Cap, Petrol Flap or Door Handle in either Gloss Red, Gloss Grass Green or Gloss Light Blue.
Now all 38 candidates who made it down to Yiannimize have been through the Audition stage, teams Yianni/Nicco and Bert/Mark must put their Top 12 in order and take in turns to draft pick their Top 6 to join their teams.
The people spoke and we listened. "If they're so good, we want to see Nicco and Mark do it!" We put the boys under similar conditions, after scrutinising the candidates, could they finish in time without compromising on the quality?
Meet the Final 12 wrappers left in the competition and get to know a little more about them. They get a speed training with Mark Richardson, receive amazing gifts and reveal who they think is the toughest competition from the other team.
The Final 12 wrappers left in the competition each have to wrap a BMW 3 Series car door in 10 minutes. Having previously shown the final 12 HOW to wrap the door, Avery Dennison Specialist Trainer Mark Richardson was there for Round 1.
The 8 wrappers left in the competition each have to wrap a BMW 5 Series front wing in brand new Avery Dennison colour; Satin Metallic Safari Gold in 15 minutes.
Contestants have to wrap a bonnet in Extreme Texture Brushed Aluminium in 15 minutes. However, the vinyl isn't wide enough to cover the whole bonnet so the candidates have to tackle cutting tape (aka knife less tape) for the first time.
The Final 4 are paired up and have to wrap a rear quarter plus door in Rushing Riptide in 30 minutes. Rushing Riptide is a flip colour from their Color Flow series so the teams will have to realise it MUST be laid in the same direction.
Becky and Thomas have to wrap a BMW i8 Roadster front wing, half bonnet and door in Chrome Red/Blue in 60 minutes. Chrome is the ultimate challenge for wrappers so we're not expecting the finalists to finish all 3 panels, or are we?
