Sorry, but Demi Lovato is not sorry about putting her documentary days behind her. While promoting her new studio album Holy Fvck, the "Substance" singer made it clear that they was done putting their life story on screen. "Honestly, I'm really sick of watching myself, and I think other people probably are too," Demi told Alternative Press in an interview published Aug. 22. "And if they aren't, then they can watch my music videos." Over the past decade, the 30-year-old has released three documentaries—including 2012's Demi Lovato: Stay Strong and 2017's Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated—covering her struggles with mental...

Radical transparency is Demi Lovato’s brand. Over her 14 or so years in the spotlight, the pop star and Disney Channel alum has revealed her struggles with addiction, self-harm and eating disorders, along with her bipolar-disorder diagnosis and the abuse she and her mother suffered at the hands of Lovato’s father (who fought his own battles with mental illness and substance issues). The singer previously discussed her recovery process in the 2012 MTV documentary Demi Lovato: Stay Strong and the 2017 YouTube follow-up Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated. The next year, Lovato was in the midst of shooting a concert doc when ...

Live Nation Productions today announced two key hires for its production and development departments. Veteran producer and studio exec Matthew Stein will be the company’s new Head of Scripted Development and Production, while Emmy Award-winning producer Ryan Kroft has been named Head of Unscripted Development and Production. Both will report into Heather Parry, Live Nation Productions’ President of Production, Film and Television.
Stein joins the company just before the release of the company’s first scripted features, “A Star Is Born” and “After Party.” He joins after several years at Sony, where he most recently had a film and television production deal and earlier served as a VP at Sony Pictures International Productions. Demi Lovato is serious about her recovery.
The 20-year-old singer left rehab in 2011 after being treated for substance abuse issues and bulimia, and she's committed to staying on the right track, according to TMZ.
Sources told the website that the former Disney star has moved into a sober living home in the La area, even though she has her home in Los Angeles.
A rep for the singer would not comment on her personal life, but according to TMZ's sources Lovato felt it was in her best interest to live at the facility during the entire run as a judge on "X Factor." Given that stress is often a trigger for those who battle addiction, it was a smart move for Lovato to seek a safe environment that would be conducive to her ongoing recovery -- especially since the singer has admitted she sometimes has a hard time asking for...

Wow, if every celebrity followed in Demi Lovato’s thoughtful footsteps, we may be out of a job here. According to TMZ, the singer has taken a rare preemptive strike against her longtime struggle with eating disorders and cutting and has been living in a sober living facility in Los Angeles instead of her own home.
As she said in her MTV documentary last year, Demi Lovato: Stay Strong, she is still battling the issues that sent her to rehab in late 2010. TMZ’s sources say she opted to live in the “spartan” home because she wanted the support of counselors and other addicts, and she resided there the entire time she was on The X Factor this fall. She’s still living there indefinitely.
Brava, Demi, for recognizing your problem before it causes any others. We wonder if maybe you want to sit down for a little chat with...

Sometimes we forget Demi Lovato is still just a little college-sophomore-aged baby. She’s been through more than your average 40 year old! Either way, we want to wish the “Skyscraper” singer Happy Birthday as she turns 20 today. What were we doing when we were 20? Oh, yeah! We got that job judging The X Factor and filmed that documentary and…oh wait, no. Those are all still Demi. The girl has had a solid year to say the least, but we wanted to present a delicious snack platter of five Lovato highlights for her 20th. Note: we had to narrow it down to five. If we didn’t, we’d have to include everyday Demi happened to catch a glimpse of her hair in the mirror.

Holmdel, New Jersey — Not even rain showers could scare away the Lovatics who crowded the Pnc Bank Arts Center to catch the latest stop on Demi Lovato's summer tour Friday night. The star, who's fitting in the trek between her judging duties on the "X Factor," brought out some of New Jersey's most devoted Demi fans. The star swaggered out to a killer guitar riff before busting out the night's first song, "All Night Long." She shimmied all night in red shorts, a black-and-white blazer and a sheer top, never once stumbling in her sky-high platforms.
She displayed her rock-star bravado when she teased and flirted with her band during tracks that were hardly audible over all the screams.

Demi Lovato is opening up about her bipolar disorder in the July issue of Cosmopolitan, telling the magazine that being diagnosed was a relief because it meant she could treat the problem.
"I felt relieved when I found out. Like I'm not completely crazy; there's a medical reason for all of it," Lovato says in the July issue. "It's a daily thing; you don't get time off from it. And if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own."

The world is still reacting to the now-confirmed news that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will sit together at the "The X Factor" judges table this fall. While their spots on the show remain among worst-kept secrets in recent memory, these two former Disney princesses will now set out to prove they are savvy enough to judge up-and-coming talent on the Fox competition series.
While L.A. Reid, Simon Cowell and Spears bring decades of experience with them to the show, Lovato, only 19, may seem too much like a rookie on the surface. But, she's already amassed the kind of experience performers triple her age could wish for.
She's released three albums, which have all landed top-five spots on the Billboard 200. She's starred on the hit Disney series, "Sonny With a Chance...

It's always hard being the new girl in school. But when Britney Spears makes her debut in the fall as the fresh judge on the panel of "X Factor", she'll have come fine company in the form of Demi Lovato. With show creator Simon Cowell and record label boss L.A. Reid returning as the wily veterans with decades of experience in the game, Demi and Britney will be the relative newbies in the mix.
The two women will also have something else in common: Both were child stars who grew up in the public eye and then struggled through a series of headline-grabbing difficulties only to brush themselves off and regain their star status.
