Abused Children
claudio_carvalho28 November 2023
Two teenagers are fleeing from a hooded man through a rave in the desert, when the man shoots and kills one of the girls. The CSIs process the area and interrogate the witness that are most of them drugged. Dr. Robbins finds in the autopsy that the teenager was physically and sexually abused and believes she was a sex slave. Greg see in one video that one of the witnesses, Amada Pedroia, lied to them since she had contact with the teens. Morgan visits Amanda in the hospital where she works and she admits helping the victims. Further, she is hiding the girl in the basement to admit her later, when she calms down. Amanda interviews the girl that does not work and soon she is transferred to a hospital. Dr. Robbins says that the girls are sisters and her tongue was non-surgically removed a couple of months ago. When they locate her father, Adrian Flores, he is summoned to the hospital. But soon the CSI find a gruesome truth about the teenagers.

"Wild Flowers" is a sad episode of "CSI". Child abuse is a nasty, but realistic theme fortunately unusual in "CSI". The successful investigation of the CSIs arrest the abuser that unfortunately is not killed by the cops. My vote is eight.

Two young women are running through a crowd of partiers. It is obvious they are being pursued. One of them falls and someone opens fire, killing the other. Investigation leads to a horrible discovery. The girl, probably a teen, is dirty, malnourished, bruised, and has had part of her tongue cut out. This episode is strong in that we get to see compassion and love for such an abused child from the CSI's. The whole thing is well done, but there is some shoddy police work mixed in.
