Professor Ove Hoegh-Guldberg is an underwater adventurer and marine biologist and ten years ago he predicted the death of the Great Barrier Reef if the water continued to warm from climate change. He was howled down by many in the international community. But his point of view has gained mainstream acceptance and some, though not all, of his tougher critics are changing their minds. His work has been embraced by the likes of Al Gore and David Attenborough. Now his mission is taking him around the globe and into corporate boardrooms in a race, as he sees it, to save the great coral reefs of the world.
