This season is still moving along smoothly--chemistry, plot, directing all showing quality.

And I just want to take a moment and say that I hope they keep the components that turned the show around.

A sizable chunk is the writers re-organizing around individual cases as well as the "Big Bad."

Revitalizing.

But another cause is simply the guest stars.

Could we keep some of them, please?

In particular this week, I want to mention Jensen Ackles. As a viewer, it looks probable that the plan is to have him reunite with his family and get out of town.

Two things against that: he's boosted the ratings and works well with the cast.

And the family reunion? Well, Arlen's chemistry with his wife is nill.

I tend to focus on Reba and the main plot beats.

This year's mystery is awesome, as is she.

Understandable if we can't keep all of those characters, given the story.

That, too, is a shame, but I understand.

But can we keep as much of this rebooted feeling as we can? Please?

This season continues to be good fun for Big Sky, but you have to wonder how long this thing can go on. What are these people even doing on this trip to Montana? How long do they want to live in a tent, and with the recent deaths why would you not get the h-e-double hockey sticks out of there?

I think the show needs a big twist of some kind. Cormac should be revealed to have done some bad things as well, but I would be surprised if the show went down that direction.

It is timely though with the money being in crypto though. Knowing the current environment that $15M is probably like $2M right now.
