Stalkers: Watch Your Back **
edwagreen21 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Eerie film involving the never ending problem of obsessed people stalking others. In this case, it's a woman stalking another and it is really frightening.

An assistant district attorney teams up with a police lady to get the stalker. The lady cop has plenty of baggage to talk about. After her marriage broke up, her relentless husband harassed her causing her to change her name and go some where else with their son.

Politics is shown to play a major role here when the city government doesn't really want a unit on stalking. The District Attorney, a married man who is having an affair with his assistant, tells her to challenge him and to bring it on.

The film is really a routine affair and it takes a while viewing for you to see the plot.

Duel of Angels

Warning: Spoilers
"Stalkers" (a.k.a., "Whisper of Fear") is an extremely well-crafted thriller. A special bonding evolves between a female police detective and her counterpart in the DA's office. The two women, Diane Harkin and Julia Winston, join forces in a special task force to stop a predator stalker.

The film was especially well directed with a gritty look strengthened by a dynamic sound score and tight close-up photography. Diane and Julia aggressively move to protect Jen Andrew from a female stalker, Ivy Hinks. It is revealed that Diane is living under a pseudonym (her real name is Gina Moretti) due to her own history of being abused.

The main perpetrator, Ivy Hinks, has been skillful in evading the long arm of the law, manipulating the system and continuing to torment Jen. She also has someone on the inside assisting her, a detail revealed at the end.

A theme of the film is the understanding of what constitutes the psychological and physical possession of one person by another. Clearly, Jen was captive to the whims of Ivy. But the savvy detective Diane reminds her that "you can't be owned unless you let somebody own you."

The "whisper of fear" of the film's title is at the heart of this tale of grit and determination to bring to account a demented sociopath by whatever it takes by those pursuing justice.

This one Must be Continued

I love this movie Backdoor Pilot very much. The subject of movie is not something that you see all the time. And because it has a unique subject this must be a TV Series. A lot of TV Series are all the same, Police cop TV shows and we have seen tons of that. Now Stalkers bring something new to the horizon what no other TV Series ever does.

Stalking is worldwide problem, and a lot of people are being stalked daily, not only by sending letters or breaking into their private life, but with the online world, there are a lot of Cyber stalking, specially with Social Media which one has open doors to make it easy to stalk people.

There is a second thing in this movie and what we see is that Stalking is not taken seriously by the police and that is why the polished district attorney (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) who team to bring a stalker obsessed with her former lover to justice.

Stalkers the Movie is a based of the True Story from Rhonda Saunders, it shows all the facts of what a stalker does, okay almost. Mena Suvari plays the amazing role of the Stalker Ivy Hinks, she does that in a way that nobody else can do. Also Drea De Matteo, the cop who is trying to protect her child has an outstanding great Job.

This Movie must be a TV Series, really can be an unique TV Series what will break all records. Do what nobody else does and that is what a TV Series as this one can be.
