- Rusty Beck: [frustrated with Brenda's focus on the murdered women] They're dead! Don't you get it? They are dead! You can't help them anymore! Or is it just that you don't want to bother with ME? Is that is? You just want to use me like everybody else?
- Brenda Leigh Johnson: Don't say that. That's not true.
- Rusty Beck: Isn't it? I mean, you haven't even asked one real question about my life, not even a, you know, "Gosh, Rusty, what a crappy situation you've got having to spend your sixteenth birthday working as a street treat."
- Brenda Leigh Johnson: Let's talk a little about last night. Why were you in that particular part of Griffith Park?
- Rusty Beck: I like the view from up there.
- David Gabriel: There... was no view from where you were.
- Rusty Beck: That's what I like about it.
- Rusty Beck: Bad men are how I make a living. I hang out where all the bad men go. Bad men like to talk to me, and it doesn't hurt anybody to listen.
- Rusty Beck: It's just easier if we all just pretend I'm eighteen, all right? Please? If I'm eighteen, I'll help you guys out, deal?
- Brenda Leigh Johnson: Thank you, doctor. It's been a real pleasure working with you.
- Dr. Fernando Morales: Likewise. Now, be quiet. When my patients talk to me, I run screaming from the building.
