I watch this film a long time ago and it still hits me hard the depiction of the little girl being totally alone in the middle of a situation she doesn't really understand. The little things that keep her up are brutally taken away from her by the harsh reality of accepting her egocentric stepfather and her new lifestyle, where only her imagination of what is under the well behind the house keep her child spirit alive.
Great actuation from all tbe actors, specially the little girl whose actuation is a great representation of the actual psychological effects of a divorced parents and facing changes in her life.
The film is quite slow, but it adds to the sensation of loneliness and bordome the protagonist is facing.
