Can you believe it's been seven years since Colin Morgan's boy wizard first strode onto our screens?
The series premiere of Merlin on September 20, 2008 set us off on a magical five-year journey - one with mythical monsters, wicked warlocks and excessive amounts of bromantic banter.
Millions tuned in each Saturday night for the show's blend of fun, fantasy and friendship - because Merlin and Arthur (Bradley James) were definitely just friends, Ok? - but what's happened to Camelot's finest since that epic final episode?
Colin Morgan
The aged Emrys might still be waiting for King Arthur to revive, but Merlin lead Colin Morgan hasn't lain dormant these past few years. He appeared opposite fellow Irish legend Gabriel Byrne in BBC One's moody detective drama Quirke in 2014, was seduced by Gillian Anderson as mercurial copper Tom Anderson in The Fall and played cyborg Leo in Channel 4's smash hit Humans.

Gabriel Byrne has revealed that his new BBC One drama Quirke could be a one-off series.
The three-part serial is based on the books by John Banville, but Byrne admitted that he might not return for future adaptations.
"I don't want to turn into one of those 'detective guys', you know," he said. "[A long run] would kill me altogether."
The Irish star explained that he disliked the "kind of attention" he received from starring in HBO series In Treatment between 2008 and 2010.
"I like the level of anonymity I have now," he said. "When I was doing In Treatment, it became a nightmare - much more than it had been before that."
Quirke begins on Sunday (May 25) at 9pm on BBC One.

Gabriel Byrne has claimed that "the best writers are now in TV" ahead of his return to series television.
The Irish star plays the lead in Quirke - a three-part detective serial on BBC One.
"Serious writers have moved from cinema into television," Byrne said.
"It's happened on a major scale in the Us - those writers are now in TV writing for HBO and Showtime [and] I think you'll see far more actors move in that direction."
Byrne argued that an emphasis on "franchise pictures" has driven many of Hollywood's writers away from cinema.
"The world of film has changed hugely over the last five years," he suggested.
"There's now a wide gap between low budget films - films made for $15/20 million - and franchise pictures, costing almost $200/300 million."

Any news on Sons of Anarchy on 5Usa?
We know it's not what you want to hear, but it's a very definite 'no' on this one. Season six of Sons isn't heading to 5Usa any time soon, which doesn't bode well given that the last run of episodes made their UK debut from February 2013.
Channel 5 hasn't officially dropped the gritty biker series, but with no confirmed return date and a home media release for the sixth season due on September 1, fans of Samcro might be better off waiting for the DVD.

It's being called the British Boardwalk Empire, meaning expectations are high for the new BBC period drama. Meanwhile Joss Whedon brings the Marvel superhero world to the small screen
Peaky Blinders
Its producers will be wary of any "British Boardwalk Empire" comparisons, since calling The Hour the "British Mad Men" weighted expectations unflatteringly. But there are similarities that make it inevitable, particularly its luscious period sets and plot driven by the criminal underworld. Peaky Blinders takes place in Birmingham, 1919, and Cillian Murphy stars as Tommy Shelby, leader of the eponymous gang, so-called because they carry blades in their caps. Over six episodes, they cross paths with the police, the government, communists and the Ira, so it's certainly ambitious – and it looks gorgeous, too. Helen McCrory and Sam Neill add to a heavyweight cast. 12 September, 9pm, BBC2.

Colin Morgan has played down rumours that there may be a Merlin movie or one-off specials in the future.
The cult BBC primetime drama ended in 2012 after its fifth series and co-creator Julian Murphy revealed that there were ongoing talks about a big-screen trilogy based around the show.
However, in an interview with the Telegraph, Merlin star Morgan has suggested that he is against the idea because he wants to challenge himself as an actor.
"I don't think I'd be breaking any rules if I said I don't think there will be any more," said Morgan.
"It would be the opposite of what I want to be - not the project, but being static. As an actor, you need to be versatile. You need to challenge yourself."
He also said: "Merlin was five years of my life. I enjoyed every year, every day. I had a brilliant time on it.
