Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Stealth moves involve the player silently killing an enemy from behind without being detected. These moves include snapping enemies necks and stabbing them in the throat. There isn't too much blood and it isn't very graphic.
  • Set in a first-person perspective, the player must kill various soldiers and extraterrestrials with futuristic weapons, such as rifles, crossbows and shotguns, but also with melee attacks, explosives and a high powered flamethrower. The game's high quality visuals highlight the attacks fairly well.
  • Blood is fairly mild, limited to brief splashes. Sometimes, it may stain the environment. The flamethrower will causes the enemies to scream in pain as they die, but there is never any blood during the process. Gore is never a factor.
  • A character has his Nanosuit, which is incrusted in his skin, removed. The process isn't graphic, but it is visible and explained in detail. It's more or less like torture, but lacking in much brutality.
  • The violence remains fairly consistent through the game.It is fairly mild for an M-rated game and less violent than its predecessor.

Profanity

  • 7 out of 10
  • On par with an R rated movie.
  • "Fuck" is used 15-20 times in a span of around 6 to 8 hours.Shit is also used on occasion, alongside milder swears like damn and hell.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The game contains some frenetic combat sequences.Other than the implied torture scene, nothing in the game is truly disturbing.
  • The game is far from the worst M-rated game out there. The only M-rated thing in it is the strong language, even though the violence is pretty noticeable.
