No pun intended - and of course if it is raining you will get wet ... especially if you sing and dance like Gene Kelly did. Thankfully this was on the disc release I bought last year. And I came around watching it - showing off how many people were touched and inspired by "Singin in the rain" ... I had no idea Paula Abdul knew Gene Kelly personally. It does make sense though.
This is one of many personal stories - and I reckon if you look for a making of of the movie, you will not find it here. But it does really tell us what impact the movie had and still has ... as the title does suggest anyway of course. Watching this and seeing how excited the people here are ... makes you want to watch the movie over and over again .. or at least once a year as one of the people here says. I have not seen some of the shows they are in (like Glee), but seeing the amount of work they put in their art ... well I can appreciate it and then some. The hype is real ... that much you can tell by watching this!
