An engaging first episode.

The economy is growing rapidly in Texas in the 1970's, people are flocking in, women are vanishing, but begin turning up dead on a stretch of waste land.

What a seriously powerful first episode, it's a very chilling story, I said women earlier on, but we're talking children and young women, the crimes are harrowing. Eleven girls.

My question, how on Earth did the killer get away with this for so long? That question is explored, some answers provided, the various jurisdictions etc, but why on Earth didn't the authorities link up, it's pretty shocking.

It's a very, very well made documentary, there are some insightful interviews, and some fascinating footage, I really did enjoy the visuals.

It's interesting to see the boom that was happening in Houston at the time. Clearly a time that was prosperous and exciting for some, and horrendous for others.

Great start, 8/10.
