If you weren't crying by the end of the scientist, you probably don't have feelings.

enough breakups
subwmn5 September 2015
is there any couple who did not break up in this show? Santana, Brittany, Kurt, Blaine, Finn, Rachel. They all broke up, except Shue and Pillsbury. Kurt and Blaine were one of the last I expected. All tried to keep their relationships going, except Finchel. He broke it off by getting her a train ticket for NY and going into the military. It was the wrong thing to do. He expected her to wait for him, but cutting off all contact with her doesn't help. He pushed her go, then steps back into her life unannounced, thinking that she remains faithful. They need the other for support, but he cut contact. he did not let Kurt know anything. That is open season for Rachel. It is what he wanted, not her and gets peeved that she is with another man. Hopefully they will get back together for a few episodes.

Lea Michele Finally Acts
kurt243917 January 2024
She plays her character and the script great and always has but the end of this episode was the first moment where she (or the script) finally delivered what felt like real drama. Of course it being Glee they pulled it back into some bizarre unrealistic place by the end of her monologue but loved seeing this. I expected very little from this season but it seems to be developing. Not sure about the new characters -- don't really hear that killer voice but maybe they haven't quite found the right song selection yet. I guess as long as Rachel is still a leading character they don't need to replace her (this is all filler after what I came here to mention -- minimum character limits :)

Glee The Break-Up
dalydj-918-2551755 October 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Last week it seemed with Finn coming back, Blaine being lonely and Brittany was missing Santana. So with the name of this weeks episode could we loose one of our favourite couples on Glee. Brittany/Blaine look back on young love and feel jealous that they do not have love like that anymore. Back in New York and Rachel learns that Finn was discharged so she asks him to come to class with her. Santana comes back to do laundry with Brittany so they will have some time together to talk. Kurt calls Blaine but once he does he seems to busy to even talk to him. Finn sees Rachel is very happy so he sings with Blaine who is also left behind with his partner. They sing "Barely Breathing". Then as the gang go to Callbacks the club Blaine comes along to meet with the crew, this small Gang back together. At the club Brody and Rachel sing a duet of "Give Your Heart a Break" at the command of Finn who says they should have. After they finish Blaine asks to sing a song, his slow version of the song that launched the character "Teenage Dream", during the song you can see him start to breakdown as he makes this some more emotional for the viewers. As they walk through the park Blaine tells Kurt he was with someone and Finn asks Rachel if she was with Brody. She tells him that she kissed him. Kurt asks Blaine who he was with and he tells him it does matter, They four sing "Don't Speak" which is really about their relationships all going in wrong ways. Kurt is the one to say goodbye to Finn. Kitty then organizes an end of the world group, so they try to prank someone but it turns into leaving people behind including Marley and Sanatan leaving the others behind. Finn joins Glee Club once again as the one left behind and comes up with the idea for the group to do Grease as their musical. Will is also on the blue ribbon panel and asks Emma to move to Washington with him. The next song comes from Santana singing "Mine" as she sings about her love for Brittany. Then my favourite couple on the show break up because of their long distance relationship which is saddest thing to watch on the show. Kitty when she is broken up with does not take it well and I felt over the top to me and I did not like the way they did it. Rachel then finds Finn on the stage of middle school where she almost loses it as she describes all the bad things he has done to her but in the end she ends it with him. Finn then starts to sing "The Scientist" where he is then joined by the all the lost loves of this episode including Santana, Brittany, Blaine, Kurt, Rachel, Will and Emma singing of all they have lost. We also get a look back on all the happiness the characters have had then back to them all in black without anyone. Emotional episode with some strong moments including Naya, Lea and Chris all making me cry.

EPISODE GRADE: A-(MVP: Lea Michelle)
